Two
-by morenaversion (R.M.G.)

He started it on a simple day -
Walked like he's in the middle of reality.
With his smile he used to wear;
Saying those words, he made them so clear.

She read with a strange sigh;
Wondering how he came by.
Can this perfect stranger in her mind be real?
She had this puzzle with an answer to reveal.

He waited like he was there a long time ago -
For a world he made to be real - he thinks it so.
Wandering around, casting out the shadow of her;
A face in his eyes, suddenly disappear.

Is it right for her to feel at peace with him?
Or is it enough to keep this secret garden for both of them?
She kept this thing as no one would ever notice;
Going away by the time he stays.

He's there before she's gone;
Having this last note in his mind - Will she come?
In a world he thought, has existed for them so dearly;
Somehow there's a line in between called mystery.

She bullied him like no one could stop;
Trying to make days so bad.
An escape goat, like she's building a wall;
These defenses she had - fear to stumble and fall.

He faced the temper like a beautiful poem from her;
She may be running away, but for him she is still near.
How long would this line stay in between these two?
He may be real -- but doesn't know what she's been through.

-finished
