The Last Tear
-by morenaversion (R.M.G.)

Empty glasses -
There, the reflection of a face.
Unblemished and real.
A sorrow is yet to unveil.

Raindrops stop -
As the rainbow slowly shines up.
The water in a riverbed gently flows.
Like a melody of how the music goes.

Leaves from the treehouse fall -
Barefoot over the green grass roll.
Holding your hands like a broken promises.
Hands clenched with cuts and bruises.

As year ends -
New day, new life to face.
Eyes shed tears for heart to rest;
Like the coolness of the soul wrapped in mist.

Time changes everything -
As to feel no more pain.
The love that is once fought for you;
Seem to be the undying sorrow.

Hearin' the heart's beat with a broken sound -
As the last tear I swear to you, it won't fall down.
With your eyes glare waiting for me to crawl;
Seize your regret as I watch you fall.
