About Her
-by morenaversion (R.M.G.)

She's away.
She has been dreaming the place since then.
A shelter or just a simple sanctuary;
Maybe a spirit room - away from pain.

She chuckled;
Remembering her first bike to ride on.
Her first fall and it was good;
Getting bruised up then she knows it's not wrong.

She was elated.
The warmth of the love she once knew.
Like a sky - light and vivid;
Or a wide canvas filled with hue.

She missed how she messed up things;
Such an inexplicable breath after the deluge.
And the cradle song the heart that sings.
Spilling over the midnight hours with such sweet surge.

She was craving for something she can't even recognize;
Standing in between two mirrors - scared to choose.
Frigid heart, fierce eyes;
She's done fighting for the battle she had lost.

She's stronger now;
The roughness has made her to behold the gleam.
The serenity she once had asked and found it somehow;
Is she already in the phase she has never been?

As she pulled that curtain down;
The thought of unveiling the gloominess.
Content and calm with the pen on the right hand;
Each line in her new poem endowed with bliss.
