he was one for always being patient, would always wait for their friend if they ever need to bend down and tie their shoe or to the point where he would wait a thousand of hours just for them, but chongyun finds himself shaking, not an ounce of patience found within him at the moment.

again chongyun stares at you and the light blue haired boy feels overwhelmed, white eyelashes batting every so often as he rubs them; he feels like he's doing nothing, when you have so much to give and he has nothing. he's not one to rush things but with this feeling, chongyun feels like he's not enough, he feels likes he's a boring partner.

the start of your relationship was rocky, it was so awkward yet romantic; you both didn't know how to convey your love for one another but then again you were patient, it's just that he had stumbled upon a book about relationships and none of the written words described about your current relationship.

he knows that you both are dating but he couldn't help but "why do we act like friends?" chongyun finds out that he accidentally murmured that last sentence out loud when you nudged his arm with your elbow, "what do you mean friends?" your eyebrow rise in confusion, hands clasping with his yet his seems to be much more looser.

"about us" he starts off, eyes wandering everywhere but into yours "i feel like we're taking it too slow" but if chongyun was being honest, he was fine with the way your relationship was right now, he just felt the need to rush things when you were one day talking about how your dream relationship was somehow more lively.

you hum, indicating that you were listening to whatever he was saying and chongyun felt stupid for what he was gonna say "you deserve more" but he still said it. he still said it. chongyun sighs before letting go of your hand just to pock it in his pockets.

"hey—" you felt your heart drop at the statement, no wonder why he kept staring at other couples on the streets "don't say that, you're already and will be always enough for me" you smile but he doesn't nor does he have the energy to hold your hand back "chongyun, don't worry if we have to take it slow, all relationships starts off small and so do us"

you take a huge gulp when he finally meets your eyes "listen to me one more time, we don't have to rush we can take it slow, it doesn't matter if other relationships are on a different stage but all that matters is that we focus on ourselves no? we can take all the time in the world and i won't have a problem with it and why? cuz i will always wait for you hm?" chongyun is lost, he doesn't know what to say when you took all his thoughts away in one paragraph.

chongyun then feels his energy come back, finally holding your hand; blushing ever so furiously as he pecks your cheek both "thank you" and "i love you" kissing your cheek slowly cuz he knows that you both have all the time from the world, so why rush when he can appreciate your love for an eternity.
