I cling onto Rafes waist as we pull up to the place Ward shot Gavin. I look over at Barry on the bike next to us. I take my helmet off, and runs a hand through my sweaty hair. Ward gave Rafe and I the job of finding the gun he lost after he shot Gavin. Rafe and Barry walk up to a storm drain and look down into it. I stay in her spot observing the construction site. Then I walk over to the two boys knelt down looking in the storm drain.

"Ain't good, big dog. If that piece went down in here," Barry says to Rafe, "Its either six inches deep in the catch basin in some toxic shit you definitely don't want to be wading through,"

"Or its way out there by that outlet." Barry says, pointing to his left.

"Now, the easiest thing to do is going to be to flush it." Barry says.

Rafe turns to face me, and I nod. Rafe and I follow Barry over to the area that controls the storm drains. Barry begins turning the wheel that releases the water to flush them out. I whip my head in the direction of someone yelling. Barry then stops turning the wheel.

"Oh my god! There's something dead. I repeat..." A familiar voice says, distantly. I then realize it is my sister Kiara.

"Like a person?" Another voice questions. It's Pope. I turn to look at Rafe.

"There is something dead in here!" Kiara repeats.

"Kie, don't touch it. That's how you get worms." Another voice says, JJ.

Rafe walks toward the hole in front of them.

"Did you find the gun? Is it Gavin?" Pope questions.

I shoot Rafe a look. How did they know? How did the Pogues know about Gavin and the gun. The distant voices continued talking back and forth as Rafe scoffs.

"Well, they're in the sewer." Rafe says, as the voices continue talking back and forth to each other. Rafe walks back over to where me and Barry are standing.

"Flush them out." I say, remembering the day that the Pogues beat the shit out of Rafe. It was time for karma.

"You flush that pipe you're gonna kill the rat." Barry says, not taking me seriously.

"Yeah." Rafe says, "That's the point."

"The last thing you need is more dead bodies showing up around this bitch." Barry says, stepping closer to me and Rafe.

"You realize what you're doing if you do that?" Barry questions.

"I mean if you wanna be a pussy, you can leave." Rafe says, trying to step around Barry. Barry puts an arm in front of him to stop him from walking away.

"Do you not realize what you are doing, bro?" Barry questions.

"Get the hell out of the way." I say, stepping towards Barry.

"All right then." Barry says, stepping out of the way.

"Go find the truck, okay?" Rafe tells Barry. Water begins gurgling out of the sewers, I look over to Rafe.

"Listen, if those Pogues got the gun, we can say John B stole it." Rafe says to Ward. Me and Rafe weren't able to get the gun because we couldn't find it. I kinda hope that my sister found the gun so that Ward would be thrown in jail. No matter how mad I am at a her, I want Ward to be thrown in jail for what he has done, he deserves to rot.

"Yeah?" I question, agreeing with Rafe.

"Yeah?" Rafe questions, asking Ward.

"Yeah. He lived at the house. Hes... hes a known thief. Absolutely, yes." Ward says, pointing to the house. I cringe when I hear Ward call John B a thief, I know damn well John B, was not a thief.

"What about the car?" Ward asks.

"We left the car at the airstrip." Rafe says.

"That's perfect. That's good work." Ward says. Ward turns around to walk back to the house then stops and turns back around.

"Listen, I, uh..." Ward began saying.

"I have to fly to the Bahamas tomorrow, and I..." Ward says, I smile already assuming what he's about to ask.

"Would you guys come with me?" Ward asks, I nod right away, Rafe looks down at me and smiles.

"Yes sir." Rafe says.

"Alright." Ward says, nodding.

"I'll let your parents know Jayde, It'll be good to get you guys out of here." Ward says.

"Alright." I say, as Ward nods walking off from the dock towards the house.

"Bahamas!" I say excitedly, turning to Rafe. Rafe wraps his arms around my waist.

"Finally, we are getting something good out of this." Rafe says looking down at me smiling.

"Other than lessons on how to cover up murder." I say Jokingly. Rafe smirks at my comment and then lifts me up on his shoulder.

"Let's go get rest, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." Rafe says, carrying me across the dock.
