Marinette yawned and rolled over in bed to see what was making a sound. Her phone's alarm was going off.
"What time is it?" She groaned as she tapped her phone and the light flooded her bed space. The phone's face read: 8:10
"Dangit I'm going to be late for school!" Marinette exclaimed as she threw on her clothes, tugged her hair into pigtails, and raced down the stairs before grabbing a croissant on her way out the door, rushing past her parent's excitedly wishing her a happy 17th birthday, with questions of what animal bracelet she got.
Marinette ran into class a few minutes after the bell rang and fell right on her face, embarrassed she got up and walked to her seat by Alya, slowly sinking into her chair as she heard Chloe laugh at her.
"Oh look, stupid Dupain-Cheng can't even get to school on time for her birthday," Chloe sneered as Sabrina giggled beside her.
"Ignore them Marinette," Alya said, "Think of the present Adriennn will get you for your birth-dayyyy!" she sang.
"C'mon Alya, why would he give me, clumsy Marinette a present?"
"Cause he cares for you girl! Anyway, what bracelet did you get? I heard Adrien hasn't gotten his yet..."
"A-adrien didn't get his bracelet yet? But he's so perfect and if he didn't get it then I most certainly will not be getting mine anytime soon and then we won't have three kids and a hamster and-"
Adrien turned around in his seat: "Who's perfect, Marinette?"
"Y-you are- I mean you certainly are not i mean your perfect in every way your a model, perfect green eyes, blonde hair, I mean not that you're perfect nobody's perfect your the least perfect person I know but what I guess I'm trying to say is I'm sorry you didn't get your bracelet?"
"Oh thanks Mari, its fine though it'll come around eventually my birthday was only a week ago,"
Alya turned to Marinette: "Veryyy smooth girl. Perfect in every way, least perfect person I know?"
Marinette groaned "I get it Alya..."
"So, what bracelet did you-"
She was cut off by the sound of someone screaming.
