Levy stopped abruptly snapping her head where a certain blonde girl was standing. Could this be..? It has too! Levy thinks to herself as she shouts "Lucy!!" but alas no one responded.
"Excuse me miss? Are you alright?" A lady ask her gently, touching her shoulders. "You seemed like you were yelling at no one, so I got concerned" she explains. Levy stared at her wide eyed.
"She was.." she trailed off as she was understanding what the lady meant by that. There was no Lucy, no anyone..just herself and the lady. A lady who looked petite enough to be in her young adult years.
"Im sorry" Levy forced a smile "I thought I was seeing my friend. After all, its been quite awhile since I saw last met her.." Lady gave her a sad smile.
"I know that feels. Im missing my best friend too.." she sighed sadly "havent seen her since she left"
Levy gave a sad expression. Losing or missing best friends are just the worst. She wonders how she has been coping.
"My names Maria and you are?"
"Levy Mccgarden" she spoke immediately, shaking Maria's hand. "Let us go inside and share stories so we get a better understanding of each other"
"I like the sound of that" Levy admits "lets go" and with that the two went inside of a small building where they can chatting it up about best friends.
Maybe, just maybe Levy isn't as alone as she quite have thought.
