The blonde was wearing a maternity top and soft sweatpants. She getting more tired as of late much to their concerns. She went to the doctor office one evening.
"Well your child is like no other child seeing that you two are wizards" The doctor continues "The baby is draining half of your magic for survival" The women paled.
She didn't realize that having a magical child would consume half of her magic. She took a glance at her partner who had a horrified look on his face.
"Not to worry. Miss Lucy here needs to rest and dont use magic whatsoever as its needed for the child" Both couple nods still in shocked.
"Thanks doctor" Lucy stood up carefully with the help of her boyfriend. She took a deep breath trying to supress the pain she was receiving.
"Im okay" She reassure them both "The baby kick I think" She winced rubbing her abdomen. The pain wouldn't go away so quickly. The doctor has a look of concern.
"Okay but if there are any trouble, come here" Lucy nodded. They both thanked her as they left the small office building.
Back at home..
Lucy face was pale but she was sleeping peacefully in the bed. Man even going to the doctors office took a lot of energy from her.
"Just sleep" He murmured and she nodded letting her eyes shut. After a few minutes she was definitely asleep. He smiles and got up and sat in the opposite side of the living room.
"Is Lucy okay?" Happy look worried for the blonde women who was sound asleep peacefully.
"After her beauty rest, she going to be okay" Natsu said as the two watch over Lucy protectively.
"I cant risk loosing them both" Happy turns around to see his best friend teary face. The last time he ever seen Natsu this way was when he lost his father during tartaros. Now both Lucy and their unborn child is at risk which was implied by the doctor by the way.
"Shes Lucy that wont give up" Happy reassuring his best friend whos tears were slipping down his face.
"Lucy is strong and Im sure of it" Natsu wipes his face with a tiny smile on his face for the first time since they exited the doctors office.
"Natsu" Lucy mumbled into her sleep slightly unease. He got up and lay down next to her stroking her blonde hair. The girl snuggled into his bare chest but with a tiny smile on her face.
"Dont worry Luce, I got you" He murmured kissing her forehead.
