Lucy bite her hard wincing but her boyfriend took noticed of it and suddenly was in front of her, kneeling down giving her a look of concern.
"Are you okay?" Natsu ask his mouth turning into a frown. Lately Lucy had been cramping(or so she say) but she always brush it off when he ask her multiple time if she was okay in any manner.
"Of course I am, just cramping" She winced again rubbing her abdomen. The baby was giving her trouble just like her daddy would at times.
"Are you sure? It seems that your biting your lips pretty hard" Happy points out. "Doesn't matter" She shot back "Im okay and I be fine like us-" She stopped eye wide.
Natsu look down only to see a puddle on the floor. "Crap the baby coming!" Lucy cries snapping the salamander into action. He held her into his arms protectively.
"Lets go Happy! There no time to lose!" Rushing out the door, the trio forgot to clean the puddle on the floor. It didn't take long to find the nearest hospital.
"Nurse! My girlfriend is having a baby!" Natsu cries and the hospital staff who look at the scene quickly took Lucy away from him, and told him to wait at the waiting room until they tell that its safe to see her again.
"She be just fine. We promise she is at good hands" The doctor told Natsu before leaving the pair alone.
"She be okay Natsu. The hospital people know what their doing with Lucy and the baby" He spoke gently not wanting to upset his best friend.
"Let them be okay" Natsu begged silently in his mind.
Let the to torturous long hour waiting for childbirth began...
