Valerie walked beside her, her expression a mix of curiosity and excitement.

"So, your aunt told you about the powers?" Valerie asked, her voice low.

"Yeah," Ariella replied, pulling her bag onto her shoulder. "She said it's been in our family for generations."

"That's insane," Valerie said, shaking her head.

"Tell me about it," Ariella muttered, eyes scanning the hall for familiar faces.

As they walked, Chloe appeared from around the corner, a bright smile on her face.

"Hi," she said, her eyes lighting up when she saw them.

Ariella returned the smile. "Hey, Chloe," she said, her smile softening even more when she noticed Clark standing next to Chloe.

Chloe glanced at her clipboard and then back at Ariella and Valerie.

"What about you, Valerie? Ariella?" she asked. "Got one?"

She flipped the clipboard over, revealing the question:

Valerie didn't hesitate.

"I would kiss Oliver Queen," she blurted out.

Ariella's eyes widened in surprise, and she cocked her head at her friend.

"What? He's hot, and there is no shame in wanting to feel pampered like a princess by him." Valerie explained.

Ariella rolled her shoulders in mock disgust. "I'm trying to get that image out of my mind."

Chloe chuckled, then turned her attention to Ariella, waiting expectantly. Ariella sighed, thinking for a moment.

"Um, I dance in the rain," she finally said.
