The last couple of weeks have been tricky. After their previous evaluation, JYP had recommended Minho to pick up rapping. It was so sudden, and it annoyed everyone in the group, because Minho was a singer, and hadn't even trained to be a rapper. Nevertheless, Kai helped him. She would sit in the studio with him for hours on end, helping him refrain from falling into bad habits as beginner rappers tend to fall in.

"Ok, good Minho, just keep it up, try to practice those breathing exercises before you rap, they help a lot when trying to have good breathing control." Kai said to him, as she sat right next to him. He nodded, and tried the exercise, and began again.

He began, and ran out of breath fairly quickly. Every attempt he had tried, he was running out of breath at the same point, he hadn't seemed to be improving.

"Ugh, Kai noona, I don't think I can do this. I'm not made to be a rapper, I don't want to be. I want to sing and dance, it's so pointless." Minho said, being one of the first times Kai had ever seen him try to give up, as he covered his face with his hands, frustrated.

"Minho, it's okay. Rapping isn't so easy, but neither is singing or dancing. Minho, you have managed to make it this far with both of those things. I'm pretty sure you have wanted to give up, I have, I'm pretty sure we all have. But, look at the bigger picture, you get over this obstacle, imagine how much you'll be able to accomplish when we debut." Kai optimist argues on behalf of his personal view of himself. She believed that Minho was able to do anything that needed to happen for him to believe in himself.

Minho's face became soft, she had stayed so optimistic in the little time they had to get him to learn to rap. He envied her courage and faith, wishing he had such. "Noona, you don't even know if we are going to debut together, or at all?" Minho fires with a negative tone.

"Minho, stop being so negative. I know that, but I believe in us, and I believe in you. Don't give up, especially when you're so close."

Felix had walked into the room, his notebook in his hand, and all the other textbooks needed to study.

They had all come to the conclusion that Minho was the best person to teach Felix Korean. Felix had been trying his best with pronunciation, and trying to remember certain words and phrases, but it was harder than he had thought.

"Hyung, you said to meet me up here for Korean lessons." Felix said, as he looked into the studio room he found Kai mostly in, it was her sort of unofficial studio, since all the other people at the company never touched that room because Kai occupied it so much, JYP even knew about it.

"Ah, Felix. I don't think we'll be able to study today, I have to learn to do this rap for Hellevator." Minho guiltingly said, as he showed the Australian boy the sheets of paper in his hand.

"I can help." Felix's head shot up, as he had heard Kai's voice boom. "I mean, I can help both of you at the same time. I can even call over Changbin or Han to help you Minho, they seem to be great teachers." Kai suggested, trying to make everyone the best they can.

"Um, yeah that's fine." Minho said with a half smile, kind of mad that he just had Kai snacthed away from Felix like that, but they both needed help from their next evaluation which was sooner than any of them wanted.

Han had been helping Minho, occasionally getting assistance from Kai, who sat on the opposite side of the room with Felix to her side, as they sat at the table.

Felix had a smile on his face, Kai had seemed to make the lessons more enjoyable with her aura, and her stupid joke that he would laugh to. She made sentences in the wrong order, and asked him to put them in the correct ones. But she made them fun, like funny things about the members, he really seemed to enjoy the lesson, and learned a lot from her. It was easier for her to teach him, since she also had trouble learning Korean at first, when she was younger.

Her dad made her do a textbook Korean lesson after school at some foriegn exchange place everyday that taught her the language. He wanted her to learn properly, so she spent every school day, from Kindergarten to her Senior Year of Highschool learning Korean the proper way.

Chan interrupted the session, needing Kai for something, as saw the whole group kind of there, doing their own thing.

"Kai, when you're done, head over to the studio, I need you to help write a bit of the song, and I need you to finish writing your rap." Chan said, totally overwhelming the girl.

"Will do, Channie hyung." Kai said, as she looked back to Felix, grading his work.

Being one of the first persons to open her with open arms made Kai more than happy to call Minho her friends, and her group mate. As trainees, the two had gotten along, and became great friends. So, when JYP told the group that he wouldn't be proceeding with them onto debut, she was the first to fall to her knees.

"Kai, no, it's okay. It's okay." Minho coddled her, trying to shush her cries. She had kneeled down, her arms wrapped down her legs and her head in between her knees. Minho had kneeled down in front of her, trying his best to comfort her, but still being on the edge of breaking down himself.

"No, Lino, you can't go, you can't leave us. Please." Kai begged for her friend to stay, as she looked up to look at the boy. Her eyes bloodshot, Minho let a tear roll down as he saw the sincerity in Kai's eyes.

"I'm not leaving you Kai, you hear me, I'm not going anywhere, we're just not going to continue this journey together, but, we will always be friends. Okay?" He promised her, and he kept this promise till the end.

When he left the room, Han embraced Kai in a hug, and didn't let go as they both were crying, from the unbearable pain.

With Felix, it felt worse. Kai didn't break down immediately, not at first at least. She just stood there, emotionless, as the emotion she felt before, became amplified. This time, everyone was like that, They couldn't handle the pain of another friend not being able to continue with them.

Chan remembered standing there, in tears, as he watched Kai just stand, with no emotion. He knew this could break her, that this would break all of them. But, Kai knew Felix before they did, she knew him and she was going to see him leave.

Changbin was the first to walk over to Kai, accompanied by Felix. They just hugged. Hugged until Felix left.

"I know this feels like the end of the world, Felix, but I need you to keep pushing on being the best you-you can be. Please." Kai said to him. She was broken. He had to go, but she needed him to know that he shouldn't give up, that he had to keep working hard, and maybe one day, they could all be in the same area, performing.

"Alway find me here, yeah?I'm never going to leave you behind, yeah?" Chan couldn't hold back his tears, as he looked at the other Australian; torn would be an understatement.
