Confidence, Kai, everyone likes a person with confidence. Kai thought as she walked down the hall to the room Chan said to meet her at. All the boys Chan had recruited where going to be there to meet the new addition to the team before the beginning of the real showcase.

Kai knew Minho and Han. They had recommended Chan look over Kai's talent, but of course Kai didn't know that. Kai was till clueless about the other members' identities. She didn't know many people in the company, only a select handful, so she had no idea who the rest of the team would be.

Kai walked up to the door of the room, breathing in and out. Their lost if they don't like you, Kai. Your not worth being laid out and stepped on just so you can debut. Kai knocked on the door, as she got the ok to walk in, as she heard Chan's voice.

Kai twisted the door knob, slowly, preparing herself in order to meet the unfamiliar faces that may like her or not. Kai fully showed herself, as she made it on the opposite side of the door, and scanned the room.

Five unfamilar-boys stood next to the boys she had confided in. One of the boys was dressed in all black, with a stern face, that was almost intimidating, but Kai could see right through it. Another boy, he was tall, 5'10 maybe, and had jet-black hair, and a cute mole under his left eye. One, that look like the youngest, very young, he had for-like eyes, and a cute structured face and a sharp jawline. Another one, that look soft, he looked almost like a dog, but wore an annoyed face, he didn't seem to have expected a girl. The last one, looked oddly familiar. He looked very soft, and gentle. He looked to be the one that made almost everyone's day just by the smile he wore. Hmph, Kai couldn't put a finger on it.

"Guys, This is Choi Kai, and she will be going us later this fall for the showcase." Chan said, offering the girl a hopeful smile, knowing the outburst of questions and confusion he would be met with.

"Hello." Kai said with a nervous smile, as she bowed, they all mirrored her action, as she did.

After that, the boys didn't move, nor said a word. Han and Minho had stood next to Chan, also offering her a smile.

The fox-eyed boy looked over at the girl, as he began to speak, knowing that the tense air, wouldn't allow any of the others to. "I'm Yang, Jeongin." The boy gave her the cutest closed eyed smile she had ever received. The rest followed suit with introducing themselves.

"I'm Seo Changbin." The boy dressed in all black spoke up, as she nodded and offered her a smile.

The puppy-like boy spoke up, with an emotionless expression."Kim Seungmin." He nodded.

"I'm Hwang Hyunjin, nice to meet you, Kai." He said with pretty smile.

The final one spoke up, nervous to speak, and mess up. She was a pretty person, one that he saw as familiar. "I'm Lee Felix, Yongbok in Korean." His deep voice, became deeper, as he tried to impress the girl.

"Felix, have we met before? You seem awfully familiar." Kai tried her best to remember the boy, but nothing came to mind.

"Umm- I-I know you from um- swimming. Didn't we do swimming together? Your from Australia?"Felix stated, as he rembered her face from somewhere.

"Ah!, yeah Felix from swimming, you've grown so much, you were so small the last time i saw you."Kai exclaimed, not knowing she switched to Korean.

"You know one another?" Chan asked confused,

"Yeah we went to the same swim club during my high school years." She stated; too fast for Felix to analyze, but he nodded nonetheless.

"Well, you can go back, I know you have classes later on, don't wanna be late." Chan said, as he offered the quiet girl a smile.

"Nice to meet you all, have a great day." The girl wished to the boys as she walked out of the room, Han and Minho both giving the girl a hug before she left.

Once Seungmin heard the door close, he began to protest."Really hyung, a girl? Don't you think that's a little far fetched; insulting even." Seungmin crossed his arm across his chest, giving Chan an unimpressed look.

Han was the first to defend."You don't know Kai, she's really talented, and has so much potential. You haven't heard her yet, but judge her off the sane fact that she's a girl." Han said, almost annoyed. He had looked up to her through these past couple of months. Kai had done many things in her life, and she had succeeded. He knew, that she needed the opportunity as much as he did.

"He's right, guys. What do you think PD-nim will think of this? This isn't some club, Channie hyung. What would the public think?" Hyunjin was the next to oppose to the idea. He wasn't sure either, but he also wasn't be ignorant and refuse to consider the opportunity. He just really wanted to burst Han's bubble.

"Look, guys. I wouldn't consider her if she didn't have talent. And frankly, most of us don't have anything to judge, but she's brilliant. Look, if she doesn't fit the group we aren't going to force her out, she has to decide for herself. Just give her a chance, trust me."

All the boys looked at one another, conflicted. They weren't bad people, Chan knew that. They had enough conscious to at least let the girl show her potential. But, he also needed to figure out what he was going to explain to PD-nim, he got wind that he wanted to debut Kai as a soloist, his mission was to show him that she would be better with them.
