𝙻𝚒𝚏𝚎'𝚜 𝙵𝚘𝚛𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚆𝚘𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚜

The chill of the day became more apparent as the co-ed group sat outside. They were on set filming a music video for "On Track". Kai was waiting for her turn in the video, as she was set to be the girl stuck in a love triangle between both Minho and Hyunjin. She was freezing, due to the cloudy and chilling weather. Her lips were chapped, and her fingers felt as if they were going to freeze off.

Seunmin had walked over, noticing the girl's state and placed an arm around her shoulders, wanting his body heat to warm her up. She looked up at him and smiled, as she thanked him for the action, as she snuggled up closer to him.

The raven haired boy watched from afar, jealous. It was no secret Hyunjin had an attraction to the older girl. Not many people found it obvious, but some of his members did take that in for a count. Jeongin, for example, watched his friend's expression drop.

Jeongin has watched his friends fall in love with Kai. From the very beginning, to now, he had watched him adore everything about her. The way he looked at her gave him all he needed in order to piece that  information together. Though, I.N knew it was going to be impossible for him to ever be with her. They were in the same group, that alone ruined his chances. But, that didn't mean that-that should ever stop people from trying.

"Hyung, if you love Kai that much, why not tell her?" I.N was a boy who saw no flaws in the people he truly cared for, he wanted things to happen that would make everyone he loved happy. But he also knew, life doesn't work that way.

Hyunjin's attention turned to his fox-like friend. He admired his innocence, because he knew I.N was so sweet and pure, that the idea of trying never fazed him; his strengths kept him sane.

"I don't know I.N. But, the idea of her never loving me that way, scares me. The idea of her never feeling the same for me, it pains me even. But if I told her and she didn't reciprocate, all that wondering if it could ever work, all that hope that someday, life would be kind to my dreams, it would all be washed away. I want to be with her, I really do, but right now, our team is more important than any other relationship." Hyunjin said, looking back at his wonder.

"I agree, but is the team more important than your own happiness. Hyung, love and happiness aren't selfish emotions, they are the only emotions that keep one sane. Our happiness is important for us to even be a group, much less a family. And I know, she may never love you like you do her, but you can't have yourself wondering 'what if's' forever." Hyunjin didn't reply to the maknae for a while. He wondered what if he could ever be seen as more than just her best friend. What if he was more?

"I believe we all have someone we could never have, someone we will forever yearn for; forever love. But, I think it's supposed to stay that way. I'm supposed to see Kai this way, in order to find the one." Hyunjin said.

"But hyung, what if she is the one." I.N rebuttals. 

"Then I'll find out soon enough. But, for now, I will just have to wonder."
