Hindi naman sa nagtatago sina Nico at Thea. Hindi rin naman nila ikinakahiya ang relasyon nilang dalawa. They just prefer to keep it between the two of them and share it with few of the people they trust.
The first people who knew about their relationship were their families. Kahit na madalang tumawag si Thea, she still called her parents to let them know about her relationship with Nico. Doon din nila unang nakausap si Nico. After calling Thea's parents, they talked to Nico's mom and brother.
And that's how their parents found out about Nico and Thea.
The next people who found out were their friends—Quatro and their SHS friends. Nico finally invited Migo and Bela over their Discord server with their SHS friends. Pinalitan na rin ni Nico yung server name nila into "576+++" from Secret Society.
Their SHS friends were busy welcoming Bela and Migo when Nico and Thea were editing their server. As expected, it was Alvin who first noticed the roles they gave each other.

Nakatambay pa sina Nico at Thea sa private voice channel nila habang nag-aayos ng Discord server nila. Hinintay muna nilang makompleto ang mga kaibigan nila sa kwentuhan voice channel bago sila lumipat.
When they connected to the kwentuhan channel, agad-agad silang binungad ng mga kaibigan nila ng mga tanong.
"Hoy! Ano 'yang mga roles niyo ha?"
"Kayo na ba, par?"
"Kailan mo siya sinagot, Thea?"
Dahil sobrang ingay ng mga kaibigan nila, Nico went ahead and muted his friends. "Ang saya pala magkaroon ng ganitong power, 'no?" nagbibirong sabi ni Nico kay Thea.
His girlfriend just laughed at what he did. He can't blame him though. Halos hindi rin sila makasingit sa mga tanong nila. "If you have questions, go ahead and chat them in the kwentuhan text channel," Thea instructed them. "But yes, we're already official."
They can both see how their friends went hysterical even on mute. Naulanan sila ng "happy for the both of you" messages sa text channel nila. "Thank you guys!" Nico told them.
And that's how Quatro and their friends from Senior High found out about Nico and Thea.
Both Thea and Nico have bigger circles of friends from their Senior High squad. The people in their server are just the smaller circle they trusted more. They managed to keep their relationship private for months since they don't usually post in their social media accounts. Napag-usapan din nila parehas na h'wag muna nilang ilantad sa mundo. Hindi naman nila kailangang malaman agad.
They treated their Discord server as their own little world where they shared pictures and stories there. It was also their way to keep their friends updated without needing to post in their social media accounts.
One time Thea set her Discord status as "5th" with a pink heart as an emoji. It was to mark their 5th monthsary as a couple. Napansin iyon ng isa sa mga kaibigan niya nung SHS sila. Agad-agad na nag-chat ang kaibigan niya sa Messenger group chat nilang magkakaibigan.

Dahil nga chismis yun, mabilis na nag-reply ang mga kaibigan nila Thea, Margaux, at Erica. It's not that Thea wasn't ready to tell them about her relationship with Nico. In fact, she's more than ready because she has prepared a PowerPoint presentation for this. She just didn't expect for her to share this to them this early.
Tawang-tawa lang din ang mga kaibigan niyang sina Margaux at Erica na handang-handa ang kaibigan nila to the point na gumawa siya ng PowerPoint presentation for this. Only Thea puts an effort to chismis like this.
And that's how her Senior High squad found out about Nico and Thea.
Aside from Alvin and Trey, Nico had more friends when he was in Senior High. Since it was their bonding as friends to play online games, doon din nila nalaman ang tungkol sa bagong girlfriend ni Nico.
"Uy par, ayain mo kasi si Thea na maglaro na ng Valorant para mas masaya," nadulas si Trey, not remembering that they are with their other friends.
"Anong meron kay Thea?" Drake, one of their friends, asked.
Dahil dun, biglang namatay si Nico sa laro. "Ano ba naman kasi yan, Trey! Namatay tuloy ako."
Napansin nilang hindi makasagot nang diretso si Nico kaya mas lalo pa nilang inasar ito. "Ikaw, Nico, ha. Anong hindi mo sinasabi sa amin?"
Napakamot na lang sa ulo si Nico. Wala na siyang takas dito sa mga kaibigan niya. "Bilhan mo ako ng bagong skin, Trey," utos niya sa kaibigan bago niya ikwento sa kanila ang tungkol kay Thea.
And that's how his Senior High squad found out about Nico and Thea.

They managed to keep their lives private. They were only posting their milestones from time to time and only their closest friends know about their lowlights. Mas masaya pala na naka-private ang buhay nila. They didn't have the obligation to feed other people information and updates about their lives.
They've been together for three years already and honestly, Nico and Thea have been enjoying it more than they did before. Hindi nga nila inakalang tatagal sila nang ganun in private.
No one knew about them except for the people they told about. Ngayong may reunion ang class nila nung SHS, it's their first time to show the public that they are a couple. Medyo kinakabahan nga si Thea kung anong sasabihin ng mga blockmates nila.
Their class rented a resort in Batangas for their three-day stay there. Tinaon talaga nilang Christmas vacation para sa mga estudyante pa at para sa mga working na. Their class officers were the one who organized this for them. Sinama pa nila ang mga naging class advisers nila nung SHS.
Sabay-sabay na bumaba sa kotse ang mga kaibigan nila Nico at Thea. Hindi muna bumaba ang dalawa para maghanap muna sila ng parking spot. Ganito sila palagi. Thea would help Nico find a parking spot and she would always be tasked to remember where they parked. Madalas kasing nakakalimutan ni Nico kung saan sila nag-park.
After Nico successfully parked the car, he held Thea's hand and kissed it. "You ready?"
Thea flashed her sweet smile at him. "Ready."
And that's how their entire SHS blockmates found out about Nico and Thea.
