Chapter 2 : The Flesh Bud (Part 2?)

I wanted to ask the teacher where my seat was, but she beat me to it. Is she some kind of mind reader or something? Well whatever, at least I got a seat by the window. Now I can enjoy some fresh air. Just as I was going to lay my head on my desk I noticed a sudden movement of the student next to me. She got up from her desk and came close to mine.

"What do you want?" I asked her with a disturbed tone. She ignored and got closer to my face.

"You're friends with Kakyoin, right?"

Kakyoin? How does she know? We just transferred here today. I stared in visible confusion. Who is she?

"I'm not just friends with him, I'm his step sister. Now could you please give me some space to breathe?"

The girl got back to her seat and winked at me. What??? First the students called me sick, and now I meet some weirdo who somehow knows Kakyoin? I think this school needs therapy.

"I'm Hikari Mito by the way. I know Kakyoin because we met in front of the school gate. He mentioned about you, so I thought you were his friend"

Huh, maybe I should look for Kakyoin and ask him. Hikari interrupted my thoughts and whispered to me.

"He also said he was looking for some guy named Jotaro Kujo. He looked serious when he said it too. Do you know him?" I blinked and shortly after, I felt like someone was in danger.

I raised my hand and lied to the teacher about going to the restroom. I need to track my senses and find out who is using their stand in this school.

...Maybe I may have to actually go to the restroom now...

Kakyoin
...I can't collapse now. I need to defeat him, or else.. actually, I don't know what'll happen if I don't defeat him. I just know that I have to. But h-he's too strong..

(oml my blurry memory of jojo pls i forgot what happens next other than the part where kakyoin collapses and jotaro goes like ok lets bring you back home)

I can't believe someone came to kill me. What the hell? This 'Kakyoin' even came to help me up when I fell. Maybe he's not purely evil, he probably got sent by someone to kill me. But seriously, if you wanted to kill me, you shouldn't have just sent a weird melon tentacle bitch. Well whatever, I'll just bring this guy home so when he wakes up, he can redeem himself for what he did.

"What are you doing with Kakyoin!? D-Did you kill him!?" Huh, what's a girl doing here? Does she know how to mind her own business- Wait, she mentioned Kakyoin. Are they related?

"Hey, who the hell are you? If you're here to kill me too then-"

"Kill you? Pft- I don't even know who you are. The only thing I know is the person you're holding there is Kakyoin. What did you do to him? Did he hold a grudge against you?" I ignored her and jumped out of the window with Kakyoin. She jumped out too and followed me. What an annoying bitch.

"Could you at least tell me who you are and what you did to Kakyoin? I'd appreciate that"

I told her my name just to end her annoyance. But then she kept repeating about Kakyoin. So I told her what happened too.

"So apparently Kakyoin attacked you claiming that he has to kill you for some reason and he nearly succeeded but you beat him up until he fell unconcious?"

Well that's a very detailed explanation.

"So who are you to Kakyoin anyway? You seem like you care about him so much." I repeatedly blinked in surprise when she said she was his step sister. At least now I get why she was so determined to know what happened. We walked the rest of the trip home very quietly.

"WOAHH!! Your house is huge, it's like you live in a mansion!"

Here we go again. Another annoying bitch screaming in awe the moment they see my house. I guess her house isn't as big as mine, but still, it's really annoying.

W.O.W. His house, is SO big, I could get lost in here honestly-

"What're you waiting for outside? Get in." Jotaro interrupted my thoughts. Hmph, at least welcome me in a nicer way.

I'm not here for him or his mansion anyway, I'm just here for Kakyoin and Kakyoin only. If Jotaro went out of his way to hurt him, he probably did something serious for sure. Kill him? Wow. Kakyoin has changed.

Honestly, after our trip to Egypt and the... vampire... we encountered.... I don't blame him...

Ah! I was so caught up with my thoughts that I didn't realise I was already inside the mansion!! Why do I get so invested in my thoughts sometimes--

"Oh Jotaro!! Come here and let me kiss your cheek"

...Wha. What? Oh- I-I think that's his mom...? I mean, this is Jotaro's "house" anyway. So it does make sense for it to be his mom.

Hmm.. I can't believe she hasn't noticed Kakyoin thoug-

Ah. I spoke too soon.

She jumped at the sight of the boy (Kakyoin) that Jotaro was holding.

"Wh-What did you do to this boy...?! I-Is he okay?? Is he dead?!!" She stuttered.

I'm just holding back from laughing.

She told him to set a futon for Kakyoin so he could lay him down there. She gave a kiss on his cheek shortly after, he didn't look really pleased though. In fact, I'd say he looked pretty annoyed... What is their relationship I swear-

Ack! She noticed me! HIDE!!!!

....I have hid behind a plant. I think she managed to catch a glimpse of me... I'm so in trouble..

"Oh? You didn't tell me you got a girlfriend, Jotaro~"

A-A WHAT!?!?!?!

I stepped out from behind the plant and shouted, "I'M NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND!!!"

I-I think I shocked her. Eek! I quickly apologise for raising my voice, ESPECIALLY since she's older than me. Actually, I can't raise my voice to anyone. Not just the elderly. Kakyoin really taught me well didn't he..

"Oh hi!! I'm Holly! And no, don't worry about it, it's fine! Jotaro yells at me all the time so this isn't any different!"

Jotaro grunts in response. He's prooobably annoyed.

I half jokingly said, "Oh dear, ma'am is he perhaps abusing yo-"

"Where's the old man?" Jotaro butts in before I could even finish my sentence. Hmph, who's the old man anyway?

"Oh, he's in the tearoom," Holly replied.

He softly grunted and started walking away from where we were. I'm not sure if I should follow him, so I'm gonna stay with Holly.

He suddenly stops and turns around. "You're looking a bit pale today. Are you okay?"

Holly looked a bit surprised, then responds with, "I'm okay, yay!"

I still don't understand their relationship, but judging from her reaction, he probably doesn't usually show how much he cares for her. It's pretty wholesome...

Holly turned to me and realised something. "Oh yeah! I never got your name! Can you tell me?"

I smiled to her and replied, "Midori. Midori Kakyoin."
