The next day...
It's 4 p.m.The doctor wrote a discharge for Applejack.I helped her get dressed.A little later we went to see Applebow.She slept in a chamber for a premature baby.Applejack sent her a kiss across the glass.
"Rarity, can we go to Rainbow Dash to visit her at the hospital?"I didn't want her to see her but I said yes anyway.
Applejack's Pov
Let's skip the time ...
Rarity and I got to the hospital where Rainbow Dash was supposed to be lying.I asked a passing doctor if he cared for her.The doctor told me to wait 15 minutes as her doctor is currently working with another patient.Rarity and I sat down in the waiting room.
"What if it's my fault?What if she dies?What if ..."She placed her finger on my lips.
"Shhh,everything will be okay.I am here."Rarity tried to comfort me.
A doctor came by, I didn’t know if he was her doctor.
"I'm Dr. Gifto Ridge.I have a patient named Rainbow Dash, who is here because of a car accident."
"How is she, will she survive?"
"For now, we have hope.If you are interested in anything more come to my office."
"Can I see her?"
"Put on a protective suit and then you can go see her."
I dressed in a protective suit with a mask.Then I went through a room where I disinfected my hands.I came to her room through the next door.Tears flowed from my eyes when I saw her lying on the bed.I sat down on a chair next to the bed and took her palm.I kissed her palm and shed tears.
"Sorry, sugarcube it's my fault.You're in this state because of me.But I also have good news, our Applebow is already in the world.I gave birth to her yesterday, she was born at least two months too soon, but the doctor says she is healthy."As I was about to let go of her hand, I felt the movement of her fingers.
"Rainbow, sugarcube, my love."She opened her eyes.
"Applejack?"
"Don't talk too much.You'll be fine."
"Applejack, that's not true."
"You will be fine because you have people around you who love you.I love and need you just as our daughter needs you.By the way, our Applebow is healthy, even though she was born a little earlier."
"What is she like?Looks like me, or you?"I didn’t want to offend her so I told her she looked more like me.I told her she would probably get some of her image when she got a little older.I kissed her on the forehead."I love you, Applejack."
"I love you too."On the nice side, the heart rate monitor started beeping.A few doctors came into the room immediately.I had to go out of the room, and wait for the doctor to come out and tell the news.Some time passed and I started to worry a lot.When the doctor came out of the room, I immediately went to him to ask him about her condition.
"I have some bad news in a way.The good news is, she didn't die.The bad news is that she fell into a coma.We don't know when she woke up.That's all, visits are banned from today."
"Rarity, it's my fault."I cried in the arms of Rarity."What if she never wakes up again?What if she never meets her daughter?What if ...."
"Enough, Applejack.Be positive everything will be fine.Let's go for coffee, it doesn't make sense to be here now."
Rarity's Pov
Applejack and I went for coffee across the street.I saw how hard it was for her.A lot of tears flowed from her eyes, which I wiped off with a napkin served next to the coffee.Her tears hurt me, not because of the pain she's going through, but because she still loves her.I may be selfish but to be honest I hope Rainbow Dash never wakes up again.
"Rarity, can I live with you for a while?Just enough for Applebow to be able to leave the hospital.I don’t want to live alone right now."I took her hand.
"You can stay with me as long as you want."
"Thank you for being so understanding, Rarity."
"I'll call the waiter to bring us the bill so we can go home."I raised my hand so the waiter could see me and bring the bill.The waiter brought the bill and we headed towards home.
A few minutes later at home ...
"Tell me, when do you want us to go get your other things?"I asked her.
"I’ll take only the essentials, as I don’t know how long Applebow will have to stay there."
"Are you up for a party?"
"I don't know if this is appropriate Rarity?"
"Sorry I suggested that to you.I go to my room to finish some of the clothes I am wearing."
Applejack's Pov
I didn’t feel good because I rejected Rarity.My mental state was really not suitable for a party.But since Rarity did a lot for me, I decided to thank her.
I know Rarity and I know what makes her happy.
I went to her room where she sat at a table and sewed.When she saw me, she turned off the sewing machine.
"Jackie, what are you doing here?"
"Sorry I turned you down earlier.My mental state is really not suitable for a party."She approached me.
"All right."Her head moved even closer to mine.I could feel her breath.I admit I wanted to feel her lips but I didn’t know why.
