A few days later ...
Rarity's Pov
I was waiting to get a referral for surgery.The doctor confirmed the date I was expecting.I'm afraid Applejack won't go to surgery with me, since Applebow is home too.
"Rare, sugarcube, get dressed for the out.We go with the child to the part."She came into the room.
"I'll be right there, Applejack."
She left the room.I dressed appropriately for the outside.When I got dressed I felt a strong pain in my chest and head.It darkened before my eyes and I felt a strong blow to the nape of my neck.
Applejack's Pov
I wondered why Rarity wasn't ready yet.I went to look at her in the room and was in shock.I found her lying on the floor and there was blood under her head.I checked the pulse to see if it made sense and I didn’t feel it.It was pointless to revive her.I called the doctor and told him what had happened.
"I'll be right there."He said and I waited for him to come.I leaned Rarity on my thighs.Tears flowed from my eyes.
"Why did you leave me, Rare?I lost Rainbow Dash and now you.Why am I unlucky in love?"I cried while I stroked her hair."For me, the world has lost its luster, I know it won’t get you back."
Soon a doctor arrived.He confirmed she was dead and recorded the time of death.I burst into tears and he tried to comfort me.Nothing helped, I soon fainted.
Some time later ...
I woke up after a few hours in the hospital.I looked around and saw Rainbow Dash next to me.She was sitting in a chair next to me.I was surprised to see her.
"Rainbow Dash?"She didn't say anything, just put her lips to mine.The kiss was short but good enough.Then she looked at me.
"Marry me, Applejack.You never know what’s going to happen, we shouldn’t procrastinate with the wedding.I know I hurt you badly but I know that without you my life has no meaning.Please don't reject me for the sake of our daughter."Her eyes spoke to me sincerely.But I also have to be honest with her.
Rainbow Dash's Pov
I waited for Applejack to respond.She seemed worried.It was as if she wanted to tell me something.
"What's wrong, AJ?"
"Rainbow, Rarity died today."I did not expect this news.
"I'm sorry for the loss.My condolences."
"Thanks.One more thing, I have to tell you otherwise I will have a bad conscience."I became curious about what she wanted to tell me.Her face lost its radiance."Applebow is not your daughter.She is the daughter of Rarity."
"What do you mean she's not my daughter?"
"Sorry, Dash.Rarity snapped the nurse to replace your DNA with hers."
"So Applebow is yours and from Rarity?"I couldn't hold back the tears.
"Rainbow, I have something else to tell you.I can't marry you, I don't love you anymore.I loved Rarity and will continue to love her even though she is no longer with us.No offense."I left the room in tears.Applejack has affected me like no one before.
Five years later ...
Applejack's Pov
I moved from my hometown.I now live in Cloudland.Applebow will go to first grade soon.I am very proud of her.Rainbow Dash is also very proud of her and loves her even though she is not her daughter.Rainbow Dash and I decided to live together.She knows we only live together because of our daughter.But in those five years, neither has had a relationship.We weren't together either.We live under the same roof as two strangers.
"Mom, where's Mom Dash?"My own daughter asked me.
"At work, we'll call her, okay?"I looked up her phone number in the phone book and pressed call.Rainbow answered immediately.
"Is something wrong Applejack?"
"It's all right, Applebow would like to talk to you."I let her talk on the phone.
Rainbow Dash's Pov
I wish Applejack would love me again like it used to.I still love her terribly.It hurts me sometimes when she walks past me and we pretend to be strangers.Applebow noticed that, too.
I waited for Applebow to answer the phone.
"Mom?"I heard a gentle voice through the phone.
"Hi, my dear.How are you?"
"When do you come home?"
"I have to finish the job first."
"Come home early, Mom wants that too."
"I don't know if that's true.But I'll get home sooner anyway.See you soon."I hung up.

Applejack's Pov
Applebow is very clever.She probably wants to have a family, since she already has.We are a family but with Rainbow Dash we behave like two strangers under the same roof.I decided to give Rainbow Dash another chance for Applebow.
Applebow ran around the house.I calmed her down so she wouldn't do anything.We soon heard the crackling of the keys.We both knew who came.Applebow immediately ran to her and hugged her.
"Rainbow, can we talk?"I winked at her.
"Applebow, go play with Poe the bear."Applebow ran into the room to see Poe the bear.Rainbow Dash and I went to the room to have peace.
"What would you like to talk to me about?If you want me to move out, I'll do it."
"Don't do that.Stay ..."
"But Applejack you don't love me, we're only together because of our daughter."
"You're right, we're together because of our daughter, and because of her, I want us to have a happy family."I took her hands.We looked deep into each other's eyes.
"Applejack, don't give me false hope, please."A few tears came from her eyes.I wiped her tears with my index finger.
"I won't hurt you, I'm ready to give you another chance."
"Do you love me?"I nodded and just as we were about to kiss Applebow came.All three of us lay down on the bed.Our family was perfect.Applebow withdrew and finally Rainbow Dash and I were able to kiss.She came between us again, we just laughed.Rainbow Dash laid her lips on mine again.Applebow was watching us and we invited her along.We both kissed her on the cheek at once.
"We both love you so much, Applebow."I told my daughter.
"I love you too."I saw Rainbow Dash shed a few tears of happiness from her eyes.I kissed her on the cheek.
"There is something else we need to do."Both girls looked at me.I took the box from the drawer and opened it.There was a ring in the box.I bought the ring some time ago.I walked over to Rainbow Dash.I showed her the ring and asked her:"Are you ready for new beginnings?"Her answer was in the affirmative.I realize that my job in life is to make both of my girls happy.
