Lisa's jaws tighten and her right fist clenches, as she stops talking suddenly. I search her face, trying to decipher her expression, but it's rigid and unreadable. A sound of a sniff makes me look at Rosé who's beside me as she meets my eyes and then widens them at Kai.

"Jisoo?" Kai says anxiously as the named girl narrows her eyes.

"Fuck." She mutters.

I'm about to ask what's happening as a chill goes through me, my body stiffening with alarm.

"Jisoo, you said it would be alright coming to the woods." Wendy says with distress seeping into her voice and Jisoo shakes her head.

"Rosé's unpredicted arrival changed something. I wasn't expecting her, it's not in the vision I have." Jisoo says with stress as Rosé mutters a curse under her breath and runs her hand harshly through her hair.

"I'm so sorry." The female werewolf says to me, heavy tensity in her tone, as I look back at her confused, but dreading something.

The 'something' materializes as tall figures dressed in black come into view, pale smirking faces greeting us. The Pinks all stand tall, their feet digging in the ground. Taehyung's shoulders are squared very obviously as he walks, stopping only a step before Irene. Namjoon's familiar face makes my heart leap and stomach drop and I take an instinctive step back, colliding with a figure as I flinch but relax when I see Lisa. Her cool fingertips grab my bare arm as she walks before me, keeping me close by her side. Her expression is hard yet her grey eyes do their best to promise me safety.

"Fancy meeting you guys here." Namjoon says in a dark tone as some of the others behind him chuckle dryly. The statement sends shivers down my spine as an eery feeling like the day I was bitten in these very woods grips my stomach.

"Go away, Namjoon." Taehyung says, his voice sounding very strained.

Namjoon laughs, the sound echoing omniously throughout the woods. Lisa's grip on me tightens and I don't mind.

"No." He says simply, crossing his long forelimbs over his chest.

Rosé snarls threateningly, sharp wolfy teeth on display, contrasting her more humanly features as I feel panic rise within me.

"Look at the smelly bitch snap for nothing." A female voice says smugly as Kai growls angrily. His icy eyes look more prominent now as they glow amongst his features. I notice Rosé's dark brown eyes lightening to yellow as they glow like fire.

"C'mon, vampires...and..." The man who speaks grimaces, "...werewolves. We all feed on the same source, anyway. Which is amongst us right now." His hostile red eyes land on me as I tremble, "Why not join hands for the time being and have a good meal?" A loud doubt claws through my chest as there is a beat of silence amongst the group. They're not going to....

Lisa pulls me closer to her side, the movement pulling me out of a darker corner of my mind.

"You'll need to go through me for that, you blood-sucking fuck." Rosé sneers as the man's features harden.

"So much compassion for a human. A predator is a predator, doglady. When it comes down to it, you'll choose to feed." Namjoon says with a smirk and Rosé shakes her head, her teeth still displayed menacingly. "Besides, how much of a chance do you guys think you have right now?"

I see Wendy's figure in front of me stiffen as she clenches her fists. Irene's expression softens to helplessness as she looks down at the ground.

"Exactly. We are nine. You are eight..." A shorter girl says, her voice shaky with laughter. "Actually, seven. That human's going down the moment this starts." She says and Jisoo hisses along with Lisa whose fangs are on full display now. They're sharper and definitely not human-like when she's like this.

"This isn't going to end well, Somi. Not for us, and definitely not for you. And you, and you. And you." Jisoo says, jabbing her finger at the girl who spoke previously, as I see red as I recall this is the girl who turned my Lisa, and a couple of the other members of the Black, Namjoon included.

Namjoon stares at her, his expression unreadable.

"Take my word for it, Namjoon." Jisoo reiterates, her voice heavy with a certain knowing.

Namjoon laughs. "Take your word for it, and why? Why do you think we would trust you lot of pussies?"

"You know about my precognitive abilities, Namjoon. We'll rip one another apart if we fight today. That human..." Jisoo points at me now, her eyes serious, challenging her usually happy-go-lucky attitude. "...is going to leave this unscathed. You don't wanna do this." She concludes. Namjoon's expression falters a little.

He grits his teeth noticeably, "You can't prove it, can you? You're trying to mislead me right now." I wonder for a second if that's what it is, but Wendy cuts into my thought process.

"We can prove it." She says as everyone's eyes snap incredulously to her. "Seulgi can read Jisoo. Irene will channel it to Jennie because by how she can block Lisa out, she's presumably capable of telepathy. We can all read Jisoo's vision from Jennie's mind, then." She finishes as everyone looks at me with doubt. I look at Wendy with the same sentiment as she shakes her head and closes her eyes briefly to assure me.

"Very well." Namjoon says as I gulp.
