Chapter 1-Beaten

I was woken up by the bright light shining in my face,opened by none other than my uncle dalton.

Growing up I have been told my mother died and my father left me so my whole life I have been living with my uncle and he is like a father figure.

"Get up sleepy head your late for school"My Uncle Dalton Said.

I removed the covers off my body and sat up in my bed reaching for my glasses.

"Fine I'm up"I said getting up and yawning

"Yeah hurry up and come down for breakfast"He said and left.

"Here is to another start of a year in school"I said to no one in particular.

I did all I needed to do like brushing my teeth having a shower,I looked at myself in my mirror and I wore a white polo with jeans and black boots and my signature glasses to go with it,having one more glance I left to go downstairs.

"Finally your done"My uncle said while I was sitting down.

"What's for breakfast"I said looking around to see the food.

"The usual bacon and eggs"he said while passing me a plate of my food,"I left some leftovers in the fridge for when you get back,I will be coming home late"he said.

"Ok its nothing new to me"I said getting up and grabbing my bag from the shelves,"can I borrow your car"I said hoping to get a good answer.

"No I will be using it today,you could use your old bike its in the garage"he said.

"Hmm ok will check it out"I said leaving to the garage.

I opened the garage door and let's say it hasn't been cleaned in a while I turned on the flash on my phone to look for the bike,and there it was sitting in the corner I got it and cleaned it of the dust and brought It out.

"Its quite old but I can work with this"I said again to no one in particular.

I got on the bike and started riding to school at first it was hard but after some time I got used to it.

Time skip to school
When I arrived at school I parked my bike and got down,as I was heading to enter school I was stopped by my best friend
Jake McGregor and let's just say he was a nerd so staying around didn't make my reputation any better but we have been friends since I came to this school.

"Hey Dalton long time no see"he said stuffing books in his bag.

"We met yesterday" I said shaking my head at his comment.

"Yeah yeah did you hear its a full moon today"he said.

"Hmm a full moon you say"I said walking to my locker.

"Yeah I will be watching it with my new telescope you wanna join me"he said looking excited.

"I think I'm gonna have to skip I ha-"I was interrupted by seeing my best friend banged on the lockers by none other than flash and his goons.we have been bullied since we came but I thought this year will be different but I guess not.

"Yo if it isn't McCall and McGregor the MCs"he said still holding down My friend against the locker.

"Nice to see you to flash but could u let go of my friend"I said looking at my best friend going through pain.

This made him to drop my friend on the ground and him and his goons were approaching me

"Wow I'm I dreaming or is McCall telling me what to do"he said while him and his friends approached me,I moved back but hit my locker flash picked me up by my collar and dragged his fist for a punch and I closed my eye ready for the punch until.

"Flash enough"said a female voice.

I opened my eyes to see it was Serena Bridget and her best friend Chloe my crush, flash and his goons immediately left me and surrounded her and her friend and she whispered something to them making them all leave the scene.

"Thanks"I said to her while adjusting my glasses and making sure my friend is ok.

I looked back to see Serena but no one was there I sighed and helped my friend up.

"Let's go to class" I said and he nodded.

After a stressful day of school all I wanted to do was go home and sleep but that didn't happen because teachers kept calling me to assist them when I was done it was already getting dark.I went out to get my bike and leave but to my Surprise it wasn't there I looked around and saw flash and his goons holding my bike.

"Give it back flash its late"I said clearly angry.

"You got some nerve nerd because we left you in the hall unbeaten doesn't mean your off the hook"he said while dumping my bicycle on the floor"boys get him"he said making his goons run after me.

At that moment I ran faster than I have ever ran I tried to lose them but they kept on chasing me I decided to run in the woods to try and lose them and to my surprise I did,I leaned on a tree to catch my breath and was about to find my back home until I felt a pain in my leg and looked and saw I stepped on a trap for wild animals I tried to use my hands and open the trap and to my surprise I did after that I sat on the ground to inspect my leg and saw it covered on blood and let's say I can't walk and the pain was unbearable I decided to call my uncle to come get me.

Hey Uncle Dalton I kind ahh of need you help-R

What is it this time I'm busy and why do you sound like in pain-D

I got chased by flash and his goons and I ran to the woods and got caught in a bear trap and I can't walk and its bleeding a lot-R

You what,where are you your not meant to be outside how bad is the injury-D

Its bleeding a lot i think if your not here in time i might lose a lot of blood I'm in the woods by the lake of the park-R

I will come get you don't make a noise or anything and try and cover the wound to not lose more blood-D

That's all he said before he ended the call,I looked up and saw the full moon.

"Hmm how long have I been out"I said before I heard noise coming from the behind a bush"who is there"I said dragging myself to sit on the tree I brought out my phone trying to flash my light but my phone switched off"just great"I said before seeing two blue eyes come out of the bush I couldn't see the person because it was dark but I think I heard a growl coming from him.

"Finally someone please I need ur help"I said trying to stop the blood from flowing out.

But what happened next surprised me the blue eye person rushed me pushing me on the ground it was then I could see the person his face was hairy especially his sideburns and nose and his canine teeth weren't anything like a humans,I tried to push him off but before I could his teeth connected with my neck.

"Ahhhhhh"I said pushing him off and holding my neck and seeing blood cover my hand.

The weird looking being wanted to rush me again but something pushed it and they started fighting,when the bodies came into the light i saw it was my uncle.

"Uncle Dalton"I said shocked and still holding my neck in pain.

He looked at me and was also hairy like the first dude and his eyes were also blue,then he snapped the neck of the first guy and came to me,looking back normal.

"Are you okay"he said Inspecting my neck and leg.

I pushed him off and tried to crawl away from him.

"What is that thing,No what are you"I said looking at the dead body.

"I will explain later but we need to attend to you"he said coming next to me.

"Leave me alone"I said adjusting my glasses in my face.

"I'm sorry I have to do this" he said bringing up his hand

"Do wh-"was all I said before he punched me knocking me out.
