Chapter 1

Chapter 1 - Part 1 - Begin

Even walks around the hallways on his phone, scrolling through TikTok. Suddenly King bumps into the blonde haired boy. 

"Oh, I'm sorry bro." King says, attempting to apologize. But Even doesn't accept this apology and frowns. "Watch where you're going! I'm doing something important here!" 

Kings rolls his eyes and growls at this response. "Like what, Pretty Boy?"

Even runs his hands through his hair. "I'm glad someone noticed my beauty. I'm watching TikTok videos. It's very time consuming." 

King rolls his eyes again. "You think I was flirting with you?" he laughs. "Time consuming my ass. Later Pretty Boy." King walks off. 

"What's with people these days? Oh, well, at  least I have a girlfriend." Even thinks to himself while shrugging.

- Later - 

Rio sits down in a hallway and starts reading, after getting lost. Even then walks past, smiling at his phone. "The Squad's back together baby!" Even shouts.

This causes Rio to look up. Rio whispers. "Okay then?.." 

Even rolls his eyes. "I wasn't talking to you, but my name is Even, in case you were wondering."

Rio waves awkwardly and gives a forced smile. "I'm Rio.."

"Nice to make your acquaintance"

"Y-yea, you too.."

Even then returns his attention to his phone. "Gosh, Stella and Allie are being so annoying!"

Rio tilts his head to the side in confusion.

"Sorry, sorry. My friends are so... I don't even know. Oh, look at that, I said 'even', pun not intended." Both him and Rio chuckle at this. 

All of a sudden King notices Rio and Even while he's walking down the hall. King groans in frustration at the sight of Even before walking up to the two other boys. "Ugh, how are you everywhere all the time?!" 

Even sighs and looks perturbed. "I'm always everywhere. It's part of my charm and power." he says cockily.

King rolls his eyes when his eyes moved over to Rio. "Hey you're new here, aren't you? I might as well talk to you."

Even doesn't seem bothered that he's been ignored, and keeps talking, while pulling his phone out again and taking selfies. "Hmm, do I even have a bad side? I think not. She better not touch my hair today.."

King butts in to Even's conversation with himself. "You're really obsessed with your looks, huh, Pretty Boy?" Even continues to ignore King and starts to walk off. 

King looks at the other boy that was sitting beside him. "So, what's your name? I'm King." 

"I-i'm Rio.."

"No need to be shy." King says as he ruffles Rio's hair and smiling. 

"Hi King.."

King smiles even more and his tail starts wagging slightly and chuckles before. "Hi Rio."

Rio smiles slightly before asking what the other boy wants to talk about. 

King leans his head against the wall and look at Rio. "Anything." 

Rio nervously blushes, but it's barely noticeable, because of his mask. "Umm, what do you do? Like, hobbies and talents.. and stuff"

"Oh, I'm a musician!" King says, his tail wagging.
