As soon as we got to the road a couple blocks away from the castle, I jumped out and ran. No matter how much they screamed my name, I have to save her.

I got past the gates I stood there out of breath. I started to the door till I heard Missy screaming. So I ran that way.

A few yards into the woods Missy ran out of the darkness and into me. "Will!" She wraps her arms around me. "We have to go!" She wraps her fingers with mine and starts pulling me.

I pull my hand away, "Where is Alice?!" I growl. She just started at me but the others came running out...everyone but Alice. I grab Andy by his shirt collar and growl. "Where is Alice!!!"

"She's in there by the lake, Damian has a vampire after her," I let go and start running. "Will!" They yelled but I didn't stop. I won't stop, I already made a huge mistake by leaving her, but this time I won't.

I get there and the leech grabbed her and bit down on her neck. With in that second I grab him and yank him away from her and pull out one of my knifes hidden in my jacket sleeve and ram it in his chest. (Their daggers contain poison that kills vampires)

He falls dead out of my hand. I go over to Alice dropping to my knees. I lay her head on my lap and hold her close.

She is turning paler and the bite it grey now. But her eyes that are looking her light stayed locked on to me. Tears fell down her cheek but I whip them away.

"Don't cry, Alice," she grabs my hand and forces her self closer. The only thought that is racing threw my head is 'Vampire bites can kill werewolfs'

"No...." I murmur and run my fingers threw her head shaking my head. "Don't die..."

The others foot steps stopped on the edge of the forest, I can feel their eyes on me, watching.

"Glad you're back, William." Alice whispers and smiles a little.

I could feel tears as well. But I couldn't help but smile and nod. "Glad to be back, I'm so sorry I am late."

She shook her head, "It's ok, William. As long as you are here."

"Will..." Austen says.

I pick her up bridal style and lay her head on my shoulder. I can feel her body shutting down. "If we take her to the castle maybe-"

"She was bitten Will!" Missy screams, pushing Austen away. "You know-"

"Shut up!" I snap with a growl. "Non of you have room to speak, you didn't help her!" They look away, "Kayla go to the doctor and tell him what happened, ill be there shortly." She turns into her wolf and runs to the castle.

I walk past Austen and Missy. Andy follows me and we go to the castle.

Alice wraps her arms around my neck and pull her self closer to me. "I don't feel good..." She groans.

Andy looks at me, "I can turn and you can put her on my back so we get there faster."

That's what we did and with in a few minutes we were there, outside the door of the doctors office. Watching him take her away was painful.

Alice lays limp in his arms, her head is dipped back, watching me. Every fiber in my wanted to run to her and keep her from everyone so I can wait till she's better, but the human me knows better.

Kayla comes out and gives us a robe so we don't have to go to our rooms. We turn back to normal and put the robes on. I go to walk towards my mate but Kayla's hand lays in my chest, stopping me.

"No you are not aloud, let the Doctor do his job and when he thinks you are aloud in then he will summon you." She closes the door and whispers, "I'm sorry Will..."

It shut and locks. Andy put his arm around me and started pushing me the other way but my eyes stayed on the door. "Come on, man. Let's go talk or something, you need to get way from here,"

It took two days before Doctor V could let me in to see her. Two painful and agonizing days that took forever.

I ran in and see her parents next to her stilled body. Her mother is heavily bared in her husbands chest as she sobs. But when I walked in they stop and look at me. I said dare to look at them, I tried to see Alice threw them, but I couldn't look at then to see their pain.

"How...is she?" I ask slowly walking forward.

Her moms body started shaking. "She won't wake up..." Mrs. Lightwood sobs over the words as she spoke.

"Doctor V said she is holding and that she has a possibility to survive." Calvin moves to the side bringing his wife to the side so I can get to Alice.

I got to her bed and slowly looking up at her face. She looks so...dead it causes me to break some more. Most of the color of her face was gone and there are gaws wrapped around her neck. Needles are coming out of her forearm and into a blood bag and clear one, no clue whats in it.

I walk around and sit in the chair next to her. I cant help but feel that me neglecting her cause this to happen...

"Will," I look up at Mrs. Lightwood. She was about to speak but Doctor V came in.

He pulls out a clip board and looks threw everything that is attached to Alice. "So," he says when he is finished and leans on the wall. "Her wolf is fine. But her human side is dead." Alice parent go to speak but he held his hand up, "Let me explain first before you jump to conclusions or start asking questions." he takes off his glass and starts cleaning them. "Alice, as you thought, was half human half

werewolf. But the sample of her blood I took when she arrived said differently. There were hints of vampire genes and antibodies flowing in her blood." he puts them on and continues. "I didn't say anything because there was no harm found in her."

He looks at Alice, "We vampires contain poisen on our fangs that paralyzes our pray. That venom is deadly to werewolf's. Alice's wolf is damages but her human self is dying letting that side come out, if she didn't contain that little trace of vampire in her she would have died." he looks at Mrs. Lightwood, "I'm aware you never knew your parent, so that only mean the gene came threw you. Yes I know you are human but some vampires family have a human child that don't develop the genes."

We were frozen in our shock as we look at him. Could this be true...

"Since she was born with most of werewolf in her there's only a few traits she will take. She will not be immortal, maybe not have the craving if she does it will be minor and only need when she lost blood. She will be paler, not sure on the other traits..." he gets up, "She should be up by tonight or early next morning." he leaves into the back to do whatever he does.

I look at her, debating if I should grab her hand or do something. I tangle my fingers with hers, i took my other hand and put it on top of her hand I was holding. I am glad she isn't going to die but I'm in shock that she changing. My feeling haven't changed at all just...shocked. But I do know I'm not moving until she wakes up.
