Chapter 1 - Alice and mom

"Alice!" my friend Jessica yells at me.

I look up at her, squinting at her cause the sun is in my eyes. "Yo." I say and lay my head back and close my eyes.

"Don't ignore me you turd! You said you would be at my house it four!"

"I will be,"

"It's six Alice," I sit up and look at my phone. "Did you fall asleep again in the grass?"

No I've been free running as a fox. I thought to my self. I wish I could tell her that I'm some thing that can turn into animals. "Ya I must have, I'm sorry Jess," I get up and whip off all the leaves and dirt off of me.

She starts pulling me, "Well at least let me drive you home." She shoves me in her convertable and starts driving like a mad person to my house. "I cant believe your truning 18 tomorrow!!" She squeels with joy. "God your so old Alice!" She says with a smile.

But i wasnt really listening. I was staring out the window looking at the clouds passing by. 18....I dont feel excited, i feel more scared then excited about being 18, i think to myself with a small sigh.

I heard a chuckle. Why so scared hun? We can finally be one... A voice says. I didnt scare me... well not much just a bit, i never heard this voice before but it feels so natural having a voice like it to talk to me. Of course it is sweetheart! Im apart of you!

Then it went away. So i just sigh and see im at my house. "Thanks Jess..." I mumble and pick up my bag and open the door. But she grabs my wrist.

"Alice, are you ok?" She asked.

"Ya i just dont feel well," I say and leave. I close the door and wave bye. As soon as i walked into the house. Mom comes slidding out on the kitchen wearing her aperon and and her fuzzy socks.

She points the wooden spoon at me the is covered in spegatti sause. "Why werent you at Jessicas house young lady!" She says with her game face on even thou I know shes just playing around.

"I was out for a run and fell asleep in the grass," i say and put my bag on the couch.

Mom sighs and goes back in the kitchen, "You really need to stop doing that hun." She basically yells from the kitchen which causes me to flinch from how loud she was, well for me it felt like she was screaming at me when i'm right in front of her. On of the many things i get for being a freak in the house. I turn on the tv and of course the news was on and their was a mug shot of one of the few werewolfs that the goverment has been trying to get.

"-got away from us. Last seen was found transformed in public growling at a police men and civilianans saying before he change, 'Leave me in peace! I just want to see her!' And then changed and disappeared shortly after. No was harmed i-" Mom came by and turned off the tv. She turns around with a smile.

"Come on birthday girl, dinner is ready." she says. But there was something about her smile that was seriously wrong. I saw pain and sadness.

its probably nothing thou, so i smile back and say. "But its not my birthday yet."

She just shakes her head and pulls me to the dinner table. "In five hour it will be." I sit infront of my dinner plate, that has spegetti and garlic bread. "You seriously have to stop growing up." She sits down. "I dont like having grey hair."

I just smile and we start eating in silents but a question ive wanted to ask but ill ask now. What better time then the present. "Mom, what happened to dad?" She drops her fork and looks at me. But i dont look up at her. "I just...I dont know i've what'd to ask but ive always thought that you would shut it down. And if you dont want to talk about it then i'll understand."

Mom just started laughing and then sighs. "Your father, went away. He didnt tell me why but he told me he would be back to see you. So dont worry hun i promise wants he gets here I'll make him tell you anything you want him to."

I look up at her and she was smiling. "Really!" She just nods and takes my plate.

"Even thou he left he has been watching you all along." she says and starts the dishs. "Go do your homeowork Alice, then you can lay around like a bum like you always do."

I just sigh and shuffle my feet towards my bag. I pic it up and go towards the stairs. Honestly i want to go for another room. i dont want to be cramped inside all day. I just dont. Lets just go Alice. Lets go for a run! I want to spread my legs out and not be stuck in here. Ill break everything!

I just ignore the voice and go up to my room and start on my homework.

-11:30 p.m-

would you believe me if i tell you that im still doing my homework., and i havent even started it. Its so hard for me to consentrate with this...this voice in my head whinning telling me to go outside and how cramped she is. And! i was in pain. My stomach was in knots, my head was pounding and right now i NEED the fresh air.

I look at the clock and it was 11:50. "Its that late?" I get up and slowly make my way down stairs to get a glass of water.

and just as i did. I dropped it and screamed in pain clentching my self.

-Alices Mother-

I heard Alice scream. I jump up from the bed and run to her. She was squatting in the feetal possition. "Alice, hun ar-" She looks at me and her eyes gold with a bit of green that glows in the dark. oh no, Cal isnt her yet, i cant hald her...i have seen people change and the first time is always the is the worse. But we arent sure if shes-

She screams again. She gets on all fours and started hyperventalating. "Cal, please hurry," i whisper and i slowly walk over to her. "Alice, hunny." And that moment her screams turned into howls and she shifts, into this big white and red (I know the cover has a black wolf but....to bad >:D). Her head comes up to my hieght.

She is so pretty, just lije her father is. She looks at me and growls. A very low mean warning growl. She gets down ready to jump on me when Cal came dunning in and tackled her to the ground. "Cal!" I basically yell for joy. I was so glad to see him again after 17 years.

"Alice!" He snaps and bites her neck really hard. She made a sound that represented a chuckle and threw him off. In air he turner and jumped on her again. I could tell they where talking threw the special mind thing, she suddenly got calmer and bith of them stopped growling.

(Hey i did this on my phone and as soon as i get hone ill fix all the errors so bare with me for a hour or two. :-) hoped you liked it. BYE)

Calvine turns back to normal and glares her down. I slowly walk over to him but Alice started growling at me again. He puts he arm around me and pulls me to him. "MINE!" He roars and she looks away and huffs. He looks at me and gives me a long kiss. "Sorry im late." He lets go. "Ill bring her back soon. She needs to burn some energy."

They walk out threw the back doors and start running into the woods. I couldnt help but smile. This is going to be hell al over again.
