Alessa opened her bedroom door and set down her backpack before noticing a figure standing in the corner. She instantly grabbed her bat and asked, "Who are you?"

The man stepped forward and Alessa's eyes widened as he said, "Tony Stark, but I'm sure you already knew that."

"Why are you here, Mr. Stark?"

He held up a phone playing a video of her attacking various criminals. "That's you, right? Probably not the best way to go about it, but I'm not here to scold you for how you stop crime."

"Maybe it's me, maybe it's not. What of it?"

He pulled out a black uniform. "Yours I presume? I need your help."

"The Tony Stark needs my help? Dude, I'm a kid! What could you possibly need my help for?" Tony raised an eyebrow and she sighed. "Okay, fine. Shadow Raven is me."

"The Avengers are in a bit of a... Sticky situation. Shadow Raven. Cool name."

"Thanks! I came up with it myself. You're recruiting children for your skirmish instead of handling it like grownups?"

"Look, kid, we're trying to get everyone we can."

"So what's this sticky situation?"

"All you need to know is that Captain America has gone crazy and that he's wrong in what he's doing."

Alessa nodded slowly. "Okay, but I don't get why you're recruiting me. You've got plenty of people on your side, right?"

"More never hurts. Whaddya say, kid?"

"Where's the fight?"

"Have you ever been to Germany?"

"Uh, no. But I've always wanted to go."

"Here's your chance. Do you have a passport?"

"Nope. Never left New York."

"We'll get you one."

"So does this mean I'm an Avenger?"

Tony scoffed. "Not a chance, kid. You're just helping them."

Alessa pouted. "Well that's no fun. When do we leave? Is it just me you're recruiting?"

"I've got a jet arranged for you. No, you're not the only one."

She frowned as she tried to figure out who else he might've gotten.

Tony, seeing her expression, said, "A kid named Peter."

Her face brightened. "Oh, I know him! He's a good friend of mine. But why him?"

"He's got similar qualifications."

"Oh. I don't see how, but okay. God, this is gonna be great!"

"Listen to me, kid, okay?"

Alessa nodded. "Yeah, okay."

Tony left and she began packing for Germany as she turned on Billy Joel and started humming along to Big Shot.
