Peter and Alessa came upon a group of men talking and silently crawled down the side of the bridge.
"Okay, okay, okay," Brice said. "I got what you need, all right? I got tons of great stuff here. One sec."
Hiding, Peter and Alessa watched as Brice walked up to his van and looked inside. Spider-Man and Shadow Raven's eyes narrowed. The back of the van was full of machinery and weapons.
Brice continued. "Okay, I got, uh, black hole grenades, Chitauri railguns..."
Schultz cut him off. "You letting off shots in public now? Hurry up. Look, times are changing. We're the only ones selling these high tech weapons."
Peter whispered, "Oh, this must be where the ATM robbers got their stuff."
Alessa nodded and whispered back, "I guess so."
"I need something to stick up somebody," Aaron said. "I'm not trying to shoot them back in time."
"I got anti-grav climbers," Brice told him.
"Yo, climbers?"
Suddenly, a yodeling ringtone played. The weapon dealers looked around, alarmed.
"Okay, what the hell was that?" Brice asked.
The phone continued to ring. Peter took his phone out, ignoring Alessa's glare, to check caller ID. Ned was making a funny face on the screen.
Schultz aimed his gun at Aaron. "Did you set us up?"
"Hey, hey, man," Aaron said.
Peter and Alessa flipped off the wall and landed on the ground.
"Hey!" Peter yelled, stepping in front of Alessa. "Hey, come on. You gonna shoot at somebody, shoot at me. But don't shoot her. Please."
"All right." Schultz turned the gun on Peter, but Peter shor his web, disarmed Schultz, and charged. Using a high tech gauntlet from his van, Brice punched Peter with a burst of energy. Peter slammed into the side of the bridge and landed on the ground.
Alessa flipped the guys off and ran to check on her friend.
Schultz jumped in and started the car. Brice, laughing triumphantly, jumped onto the back of the van as his accomplice drove off.
"What was that?" Peter wondered as he shot his web, attaching it to the weapon dealers' open van door.
The van drags in through a neighborhood, knocking Peter and Alessa into a trash can.
"What? Ah!"
"Ow!" Alessa yelled.
Peter shot a second strand of web.
"We gotta call him," Schultz said.
"No, no, no, no," Brice replied.
Brice readied another high tech weapon. Outside, Peter was holding on with two thin lines of web, trying to maintain balance while Alessa was hanging onto him for dear life. Brice fired another burst of energy. It broke off the van door.
Peter and Alessa were still being dragged through the neighborhood, clinging to the back of the van.
"Oh, my butt!" Peter complained. "Unh!"
"Oh you're one to talk!" Alessa spat.
Brice powered more energy blasts at Peter and Alessa, causing him to lose his grasp on one of the webs. Just as Brice powered up the weapon once more, the van met a road bump. The whole car wobbled, making Brice accidentally fire a hole in the van. He dropped the weapon and it rolled out of the vehicle. The weapons came to a stop in someone's yard.
