The Silent Waltz

You are dancing with your partner who you had just met a few moments ago in a ball room full of people including your Nemesis. You try to ignore the fact that your enemy keeps glaring at you from across the room. She smirks at you making your blood boil. Did she always have to annoy you? All you wanted to do was have fun for one night. Your dance partner brings you closer to them and leans into your ear whispering " ignore the idiot across the room. All that matters tonight is you and me, so let's enjoy our time here. Don't spend a moment of your time thinking about that person" He tightens his grasp around your waist. His piercing icey blue eyes staring straight at you make you blush. You hadn't realized how handsome he truly looked until now. His messy brown hair, his sharp jaw line, his clear skin and his beautiful eyes made him stand out from the rest. You start to melt in his grasp and eventually forget the fact that you are in a ballroom full of other people. You become so focused on your partner that you start to believe you are the only two dancing. The grand marble walls with silk green drapes covering the windows start to morph into an empty meadow being shinned on by the moon's light. You and your partner continue to dance swiftly to the melody. The music arruptly stops and you are once again returned back to reality. You realize now, that everyone is staring at you and your partner. You two were the only ones still dancing. You become worried as you realize what was happening. You draw close to your partner whispering in his ear " Thank you for tonight. It was lovely. I hope to see you again soon." As you draw your head back and start to leave your partner gently takes your hand and brings it to his lips. " The pleasure is all mine. I hope to see you again soon my love." As you start to leave the dance floor you look back one last time before becoming focused on your mission. Find the Duke and kill him.
