A Lifetime of Love

Chapter one

Where it all began:

I wake up to my alarm clock, which is Rue's whistle from the Hunger Games, I'm a Huger Games freak I guess you could call me, I should introduce my self and tell u little about me
Hi I'm Amanda and I'm 14 years old, my family and friends call me Mandy, and I prefer it that way bc no one calls me Amanda unless I'm in big time trouble, anyways enough about that, I'm a bubbly person, a phone addict, Starbucks addict, and YouTube addict, other than that I dance and do a little bit of gymnastics here and there, I have my 2 best friends, Maddi and Kaylen, we have been best friend since kindergarten, we always hang out in and after school, if we can't, we always FaceTime each other to act like we're all doing something together but on camera, I love my life it's amazing right now and I really thank pretty much everyone, but here is where it all began

I got ready and I wore my "I wish I was at Hogwarts" shirt and some black leggings with white converse, I grab my phone and head downstairs, I see my mom making my favorite breakfast eggs and bacon! My dad comes down the stairs and says "I smell eggs and bacon!!!" Happily, I check the time and it says "7:12 am", I get my keys, kiss my parents goodbye and head out the door

{In school}
Urgh first period's history, and miss Lauren is so boring, I try not to fall asleep in her class, I decided to text my close friend Alfie, his real name is Alfred but I call him Alfie, we met in meditation class, I know, weird huh? He doesn't live here anymore, I miss him here, Miss Lauren caught me texting and told me I either read it out loud and then hand it to her so by the end of the class she'll give it back, or she'll take it to the principal's and won't return it till the end of the semester, I wouldn't risk giving it to then principal ever!!

I asked Miss Lauren if I could just text him "Okay."

{ During the break}
Maddi, Kaylen and I all sat together with our foods, we invited a couple of girls over to eat with us, Maddi and Kaylen start whispering and spreading secrets to each other, "HEY! SECRETS ARENT FRIENDLY!!!!!" I yell at them

I still see them whispering to each other at the locker and not tell me, I can't believe my best friends, If there are secrets, they should only be told to our group and not go outside, not tell one person and not the other(s), I ask Kaylen what she and Maddi are whispering about, she says she can't tell me. I got pissed off and rolled my eyes and walked away, still after every period they whisper and don't talk to me

{ after school}
Finally! Finally we're done with school! It's Summer vacation!! I text Alfie to make sure that his parents allowed him to make us travel together as a family- friend trip, he doesn't reply, I text him again... Wtf? Why isn't he replying I wonder, I call his house and his mom replies, "hey Mandy!" She says, "Oh hi Mrs Brookes" I say "is Alfie there?" I ask, she says "no, actually Alfie's asleep, I'll let him know u called" "okay" then I hang up

"AMANDA!!!!!!"
I hear my name, shit! What did I do?
I run down the stairs, until I see my mom and dad standing in front of each other, I asked "what's wrong?" "Ur dad wants u to go to boarding school" my mom said, " just sit down and eat ur lunch it's non of ur business" dad said furiously, "okay!" I say, "umm... Mom... Can Alfie and his family and our family, go on a family trip" I asked gently, "NOT NOW AMANDA SHUT UP!" My mom yelled at me, I dropped my fork and said "I'm full" and I ran upstairs to my room, I texted Alfie and he still didn't respond, it's been hours, how many hours does this boy need to sleep? I wondered, I do have Maddi and Kaylen to talk to, but I'm mad at them for the secrets they kept hiding.

｛a couple of hours later}
I ran downstairs to go outside and just stay alone and take a walk by the beach, when I grabbed my keys my mom told me to sit down, I rolled my eyes, breathed heavily and say down, "so sorry about earlier baby" she started "it's okay mom" I say, " well baby... We want u to know that both ur dad and I love u sooooo much but..." She stops "but what?" I say!!! "Ur dad and I are getting a divorce" my eyes widen, I hug my mom and tell her everything's okay, I kiss her forehead and told I'm going to the beach. I left and while I there I texted Alfie again, still no reply...
I stop walking walk to go to my car, then I drive home, I run to my room and cry myself to sleep
