Sunday, September 18th, 2039: 1 a.m.
"Hey beau I miss you baby I'm 10 weeks today and I got the chance to hear the baby's heartbeat and it's so healthy thank God because I've been hella stressed and just worried about you..I recorded the whole doctor's visit since you couldn't be there a-and I-I t-tried my best to be strong for us but it's hard I broke down a few times durning the appointment but then I got a grip..Baby I just need you to follow my voice and come back to us we need you baby we need our protector" K'asani's sweet voice said then my eyes popped open once I felt her lips press against my cheek.
"Beau! Oh my gosh lemme get the doctor" she said frantically then she pressed the red button on the side of my bed while my eyes trained on her wet face and light eye bags under her eyes.
5 minutes later...
"Can you feel this Mr.Knight" the doctor asked doing something to my foot.
"No" I said sadly while K'asani held my hand and caressed my face.
"Just as I suspected you have temporarily lost feeling in your lower half because of the bullet that almost struck your spinal cord, umm is there someone who can be home with you and help you around the house or do you guys need a minute to discuss home nurses because you're gonna be wheelchair bound for awhile" she asked then tears trickledown my cheeks.
She's gonna leave me.
"Me I'll be home with him but can you step out for a moment" she asked looking at the doctor then she nodded and stepped out of the room.
"I-if you wanna leave me t-that's ok" I chocked up then she looked at me with her face balled up.
"Is that what you're thinking? Brandon I'm not leaving you I could never leave you you're my other half my heart would hurt if I leave you I love you way too much for that and we're way stronger than this" she said looking at me with a softened face.
"I'm sorry shug I love you too with all of me lift your shirt lemme see your belly" I said smiling big then she smiled and lifted her shirt showing her little bump.
"Daddy's baby" I said placing both of my hands on her belly then I leaned forward and kissed her belly.
"Imma fuck you up I swear K'asani yo ass knew better then to be doing allat not eating or sleeping really shug you know I told you I'll always come back to you so take care of yourself" I said looking at her then she wiped her eyes.
"It was hard B, but I stopped I eat and I sleep because I gotta stay right for the baby and you and Xuti" she said then I nodded.
"And yourself, but gimme kiss" I said then she bent down and kissed me passionately while I rubbed my hands on her belly.
