Tuesday, August 16th, 2039: 2 p.m.
"You need to tell her Khalil or I will how could you be so selfish not telling your daughter her fiancé is in the hospital fighting for his life" I heard mommy say from inside of her office.
"HE'S WHAT" I asked barging inside of the room with Xuri in my arms.
"K'asani-" she started then I tears ran down my face.
"How long did you know mommy?! How long did you sit and lie in my face and tell me his phone is broken and he's trying to contact me, how long" I asked feeling my heart shatter into a million pieces.
"T-two weeks" she said looking at me.
"How could you! How could you guys do this to me, huh?! I'm leaving and don't worry about me or Xuri or Brandon ever coming back" I said with so much anger and pain then I left out the room.
"K'asani wait" she called out then I pulled my phone out.
"No! Two weeks?! He's been in the hospital for two week and I was the last to get informed??! Two weeks with him sitting in the hospital bed alone without me there by his side?! Daddy was in the hospital bed too and you didn't leave his side you guys are so selfish! If Brandon never gets to meet our other child I will blame you guys" I said then I pushed opened the sliding door and made my way to the guest house.
15 minutes later...
"K'asani why is mommy crying" Kamari asked rubbing towards my car while I strapped Xuri inside of her car seat.
"I don't know ask her I'm leaving for Miami you guys be good I love you all" I said then I shut the door and kissed her forehead.
"What's going on K'asani why are you leaving and with so many things" she asked on the verge of tears.
"T-the love of my l-life is fighting for his life and I-I just found out today mommy and d-daddy kept that from me for t-two weeks a-and I'm pregnant i-if Brandon never gets to meet our baby I'm gonna b-blame them and th-their selfish w-ways I c-could've to-told him b-but they l-lied to me" I cried then I adjusted the temperature in my car from my phone using the Tesla app.
"They did what?! I'm coming with you and congratulations" she said looking at with so much anger.
"No Mari! You're gonna stay here and keep me updated on everything going on once we're back in town whether it's with B-Brandon or not I'll invite you guys over to my place because I'm not living here any longer" I said then she hugged me.
"He's gonna come back he promised me and the rest of us he'll never leave you alone he's gonna be back, go to your man Sani and call me as soon as you land I love you guys" she said then she rubbed my belly.
"We love you too and ok I will and I want you all present on the face time call so I can share the news with everyone, and don't shut mommy out or daddy because I know you Kamari" I said then she nodded.
"I promise lemme get my kisses from my niece and I'll send you guys on your way" she said then I rubbed my belly and walked over to my door and opened it then I got inside and closed the door.
Time Skip: 7:45 p.m.
"Good evening, how may I assist you" the lady at the front desk.
After hours of being on a plane and driving I'm finally at the hospital in Miami awaiting to see my fiancé.
"Hi, I'm here to see Brandon Knight I'm his wife" I said looking at her then she nodded her head.
"Ah yes K'asani Knight you're on his emergency contact, let me make you a pass he's currently in the ICU and only family and friends can go back there" she said then I nodded.
"May I asked why didn't I get a phone call if I'm on his emergency contact list" I asked adjusting Xuri's diaper bag.
"It says on record they were informed not to tell you" she said then she printed up a pass.
"Ok, thank you" I said nodding my head.
Room 346
7 minutes later...
"B you gotta wake up son K'asani and Xuri needs you hell you part of the family..This shit all my fault man my daughter hates me because of my selfish ways thinking I'm protecting her just to find out I'm breaking her and that's the worst feeling in the world" I heard dada say then I stepped all the way into the room and placed my things down on the couch then I placed Xuri's car seat down ignoring his presence.
"Princess" dada said then I looked at him.
"You broke your promise crip I would like to be alone I will let you and mommy know when I'm ready to speak with the both of y'all but for now please leave me alone" I said wiping the tears streaming down my face then I looked at Brandon who had tubes all in his mouth laying there looking lifeless with a slow but steady heartbeat.
"I understand I'll always be here princess no matter what I know I hurt you but please find it in your heart to forgive me, I love you and papa's babies" he said then I nodded.
"I can't blame you guys if he doesn't meet our new child that was me speaking out of anger and I have already forgave you guys but I just need time away I'm not living in the house when I return and all I ask is for you guys to respect that wish" I said then hw nodded.
"Ok, I love you be safe and call me or text me each night before you go to bed and send me pictures of my babies" he said then I nodded.
A/N: Currently crying while writing this.
"I will and I love you too" I said then he came and kissed my forehead.
"PAPA" Xuri said from her car seat.
"Baby" he said smiling then he went over to her and kissed her cheeks.
"I have to go baby but I'll be back and imma call you everyday" he said softly.
"Otay" she said smiling big.
She learned that word before her daddy left for Miami.
Time Skip: 11:45 p.m.
"I'm here baby even though I wish I would've been here a lot earlier I'm here and I'm never leaving your side just as I promised..The doctor said you can hear me but can't respond but you're gonna be a daddy again I'm 5 weeks pregnant on the 24th I'll be 6 weeks yup you knocked me up on my birthday, but I miss you and so does Xuri. You're supposed to be here with us, helping pick out our wedding colors but that will be postponed until I get the love of my life back into my arms..I wish I could hear you say I love you but until then I'll say it and hope you feel the same way, I love you beau goodnight" I said then I wiped my eyes and grabbed his ringed hand and placed it on my belly where he always keeps it while we're asleep then I adjusted Xuri on my chest.
