"Beau, wake up" Sani said tapping me then I opened my eyes.
"Hmm" I asked then she straddled my lap.
"It's your birthday happy birthday baby I was tryna let you sleep, but I'm so excited you know because it's your first birthday we get to spend together and yea I'm just rambling" she said causing me to smile.
"Thank you baby, but what time it is" I asked looking at her.
"4:30" she said then I ran my hands down my face.
"I ain't going to school today I been up since one moving my shit in" I said then she placed something on my chest.
"Here's your first half of your gifts from me you'll get the rest on Saturday" she said causing me to smile then I sat up in the bed.
"Thank you baby, my breath stank" I asked then she shook her head no.
" No, I would've told you but I do need to re-twist yo hair" she said then she kissed me.
"We gotta pick up another one today, but I hope you like it" she said then I dug inside the bag and pulled out a ring box.
