Chapter 12 - Walking Away

"Quinn there you are" Logan says as he sees Quinn coming round the corner towards the fountain.

"Hey" Quinn says quietly.

"I was worried about you. What took you so long?"

Quinn stays quiet and just shrugs her shoulders.

"Quinn, what's wrong?" Logan says as he puts his arm around her.

Quinn still remains quiet and just looks at the ground

"Hey! What's up?" Logan says pulling her face up with his fingers.

"What secret do you have with Dana?" She suddenly blurts out.

"What? W...wh... what do you mean?"

"You are getting nervous! You are starting to sweat and you are having trouble to remain eye contact with me!"

"I'm not nervous at all"

"Tell me what secret you and Dana have!"

"There is no secret to tell Quinn. Please believe me"

"Logan you are making repetitive and unnecessary movements which suggest you are either feeling guilty or nervous, maybe even both. So tell me now?"

"I'm not!"

"Not what? Not going to tell me or not feeling guilt or nerves?"

"Neither of them things. Please just drop it. Where is all of this coming from anyway?"

"Dana and I may of had a little fight"

"WHAT? Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine, she didn't hurt me physically. I may of hurt her physically a bit..."

"You hurt her?"

"I zapped her a few times with my watch..."

"Quinn... What happened?"

"She started to wind me up and she said you guys have secrets and she wouldn't tell me what and she then told me to ask you."

"She is lying Quinn!"

"Is she though? Because she told me that I should tell her what you say so she can see if you lied or not"

"There is no secrets Quinn! She is just jealous"

"Jealous of what? Since she has turned up she has been constantly trying to find you or being around you and she hates me!"

"I don't know what to say? She is just crazy"

"Oh here we go!"

"What?"

"Men calling women crazy! It's a classic sexist thing to say and it's usually what boy's say when they are cheating on their partner!"

"No! I didn't mean it like that at all Quinn! I'm sorry"

"If you don't tell me what's happening between you and Dana, I'm walking away"

"Walking away from us or just this conversation?"

"I don't know. So tell me."

"There is nothing to tell"

Quinn rolls her eyes at Logan and storms off. Her eyes start to tear up and she feels heartbroken.

Quinn gets back to her dorm crying her eyes out.

"QUINN?" Zoey shouts.

"Quinn! What's wrong?" Lola says jumping off her bunk bed.

"It's Logan!" Quinn cries out.

"What's he done?" Lola asks

"I think something is going on with him a Dana" Quinn says, still crying.

"What do you mean? Logan loves you Quinn!" Zoey says.

"I thought something was going on between them because she couldn't leave him alone and then she said they have secrets together and I don't really know him like she does" Quinn says grabbing a tissue.

"Right?" Lola says.

"Then I just questioned him about it and he denied EVERYTHING! I know he is lying though because he got nervous and wasn't looking at me AND he was using non-congruent gestures." Quinn cried out.

"I'm sure everything is fine" Zoey says giving her a hug.

"What the hell is non-congruent gestures?" Lola asks.

Quinn just ignores her and continues to cry while Zoey hugs her.

"Do you want us to talk to him?" Zoey asks pulling away from the hug.

"No that might make it worse. I need him to tell me and if he won't tell me I need to find out myself!" Quinn says wiping her last few tears off her cheek.

"I hate seeing you like this over some guy" Lola says giving her a hug.

"He isn't just some guy though. He is the love of my life..." Quinn says while hugging Lola.

"What?" Zoey says in shock.

Quinn breaks free from the hug and sits on Zoey's bed.
"So you know how I loved Mark?" Quinn says

"Yeah" Zoey and Lola say I'm unison.

"Well in my head I thought that was what love was suppose to feel like, but being with Logan I realise I was so wrong before. I now know what love truly feels like... it feels like Logan."

"Awww Quinn" Zoey says sitting next to her.

"That's why I'm so upset right now" Quinn says

"It will be okay" Lola says sitting the other side of her.

"Will it though?" Quinn says looking at the floor.

"Yes! If he loves you, he would tell you if anything was going on" Zoey says.

"Well that's just it... What if he doesn't truly love me?" Quinn says as she starts crying again.
