Quinn and Logan (After the Prom) ~ ZOEY 101

Chapter 15 - Deal

THE NEXT DAY

It's 5am and Quinn gets out of bed and heads to the shower, she didn't sleep at all last night because of what happened and she is hoping a shower will wake her up a bit and refresh her.

"Quinn what are you doing up so early?" A girl called May said.

"I could ask you the same" Quinn responds

"I'm going for my morning run"

"Oh right, well I'm having a shower"

"Are you alright Quinn? You don't look so good"

"Yeah, I'm just tiered. Anyway enjoy your run"

Quinn doesn't want to tell anyone because she feels humiliated with what happened, but she doesn't fully know who Dana told...

In the shower block Quinn turns on the shower to a cold temperature and gets in, she just sits down in the cubical letting the water just fall on her while she is crying.

20 minutes later she finally gets out the shower and heads back to her dorm. Her skin is all wrinkled from the water, but she wanted to stay in there as long as possible to avoid people.

Quinn gets back into her room and tries not to wake Zoey or Lola, she quickly gets changed into daywear rather than her pjs. Once she is done she quickly brushes her hair and leaves the room. It's about 5:45am now and PCA is silent and it's like a ghost town with nobody around. Quinn walks around all of PCA not even thinking about what happened as she has just sort of zoned out.

"Hey Quinn" a voice says behind her.
She turns her head around sharply and sees Vince on a run.

"Oh hi" She grunts

"What's up? Why are you up so early?"

"Just couldn't sleep"

"I... I'm sorry about Logan"

"Oh great, so everyone knows now?"

"No...no...not at all, I only found out because of Chase telling me"

"Soon everyone will know and I'm going to be the joke of the school."

"How?"

"Well people are going to say "Wow Quinn thought she could change Logan, how stupid" OR "Quinn really thought Logan wasn't going to cheat on her, he has always taken advantage of women. Quinn is an idiot" OR something along them lines"

"Nobody is going to say that. If anything everyone will hate Logan and judge him"

"Yeah, but I still feel humiliated..."

"You shouldn't! Logan is going to be the one that will get all the hate not you. Everyone will be on your side and defend you"

"I don't know... I just feel like an idiot"

"Don't!"

"I... I genuinely thought he loved me"
Quinn starts to cry again and Vince gives her a little hug.

"I'm so sorry this happened to you Quinn. Do you want me to beat him up again?" Vince says with a little laugh.

"That does sound tempting" Quinn says with a little joking laugh.

They hug for awhile and the hug feels nice and warm on this crisp early morning.

FIRST LESSON

Quinn is sat in Biology class next to Zoey.
"Why were you up so early?" Zoey whispers so the teacher doesn't hear them talking.

"Just couldn't sleep" Quinn whispers back.

"Have you seen you know who today?"

"Nope. Maybe he is with Dana..."

Suddenly a bit of paper gets thrown at Quinn's head. Quinn unfolds the bit of paper and it's a note.
The note says:

I heard you broke up with Logan.
Meet me after class.
Mark

"Are you serious?" Quinn mouths to Mark from across the room.

"What was it?" Zoey whispers.

Quinn hands her the note and while Zoey is reading it she is glaring at Mark.

"Oh wow..." Zoey whispers

"I know" Quinn whispers

"What are you going to do?"

"I'm not going to meet him. I'm not interested in him"

"I wonder what he will say? He is a boy of few words"

"Should I see?"

"Maybe see what he says because I can linger around if you need me" 

"Sounds like a plan"

AFTER LESSON

Quinn leaves with Zoey and waits outside the door. Zoey floats around not making it look too obvious that she is listening.

"Hi Quinn" Mark says as he leaves.

"What do you want Mark?" Quinn groans

"Since you and Logan aren't together anymore, I was maybe thinking we should give things another go?"

"I told you before and I will tell you again... NO!"

"I would never do what Logan did to you"

"Wait! You know what happened?"

"Yeah. I think the entire school knows now"

"Oh..."

"I would never kiss someone else"

"No you just left me for someone else"

"Let me take you to dinner tonight?"

"No thanks"

"We can say it's just a friendly thing and not a date"

"I don't want to"

"Why? I will pay"

"I will go as long as I can bring two people and make it a double thing"

"Which two people?"

"Zoey and Chase"

"Fine!"

"But I've still not fully said yes yet because I need to see if Zoey and Chase will go. Also you can pay for them as well. Deal?"

"Urgggg! Fine. Deal!"

They shake hands and Quinn confidently walks away and grabs Zoey.

"Do we really have to go out with Del Figgalo?" Zoey says as she was listening to the whole thing.

"You don't have to, but he is paying..."

"We could always order a load of stuff and make him pay"

"Exactly"

"I will speak to Chase"

They both start giggling.
