Earlier today, I was re-reading the first couple of parts of this story, and I realized the timelines didn't match up. June 1st, 2021, was a Tuesday, which means that the day before it, May 31st, was a Monday, and the day before that was a Sunday - the day Maia supposedly stayed home from school, but since school doesn't run on Sundays, that should be impossible. This means that the day Leonie died, May 29th, was a Saturday, but as Leonie died after a school day (this is necessary for later in the plot) that can't be true. So, is it worth it to go back and fix the dates, or should I leave it how it is?
Another query is about the COVID-19 situation in Maia's world. When Maia went to back to school in chapter three, she didn't wear a mask, nor did she take precautions to prevent the spread of germs. But on May 31st 2021, my school, at least, still wore masks, kept up social distancing, and sanitized regularly. So should I go back and fix that too, or make Maia's world some kind of weird alternate universe where the pandemic never happened?
Thank you!
