"There is prodigious strength in sorrow and despair." - Charles Dickens

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆: It was like he was threatening me with no punishment. This was my chance to swoop into his guts with great force and power. I targeted my hand, perfectly aiming at the spot I could punch him at. Then it finally hit him.

 How does that feel, Justin?

"Gah! What the hell, bro?" Justin splattered. I just gaped at him, I had no regrets because I got to snarl at his pathetic face.

"Mateo!" Felicity shot at me. She was terrified and surrounded Justin's body, trying to figure out a way to help him.

"What?" I grudged at her.

"Why did you do that?"

"He deserved it." I kept my face emotionless, if he wanted to pick up a fight, I'll give him a fight and that's how it ended. Justin lied on the ground, hands clenched on his stomach and coughs of blood spewed across the floor, creating a river flow from his mouth.

"He's in pain! Blood everywhere!" Felicity cried out. I could see the disappointment on her face, as if she wouldn't punch someone if they stood there, being all smug.

"So what? Let's just go to the Office." She scooted towards me, avoiding the blood coming from the ground.

Justin squeezed his stomach, lying on his side. I never expected myself to punch that hard to make someone bleed.

"You're just an n-nerd, Mateo..." Justin spoke.

"If nerds can knock down a monster, then sure, I'm a nerd."

"C'mon Mateo, let's go," Felicity whispered. I knew she felt guilty not helping Justin because everyone knew her as Goody Two Shoes.

"Alright," I told her. She was panicking looking at the time and waiting for me.

Felicity barged into the Office, noticing the Office ladies at the front counter.

"Welcome! How may I help you two?" Mrs Miller asked. Felicity nudged my shoulder to answer the question as she indicated her finger at her untied shoelaces, I nodded in agreement.

"Oh, just a late pass, please," I mumbled.

"Alright, you may register through the computers then grab a late pass." She instructed. I nodded my head once again and waited for Felicity to finish.

"Alright Bozo, let's go." She joked, we left the counter to the registration computers.

"Oh, there's only one computer left..." She continued.
