"Miss Auburn! You're here..." Pierce croaked, he was midway into proposing to Felicity and midway of me throwing him out of the window. Thank lord, Miss Auburn came in clutch.
"Yes, what seems to be the announcement, Captain of the football team?" She gave him a muddled look while holding up sheets of copied paper.
"Nothing."
"You look like you were in the middle of something, might as well tell me." The room just glanced around the room, carrying the pressure out of Pierce. He looked stunned, in a position that's quite obvious, he's an oblivious guy, but sometimes, it gives you a disadvantage.
"I was picking up Felicity's ring! Here, Felicity, you may wear it." He smirked, it was definitely a smooth move, this can't continue for longer. Felicity looked so uncomfortable, clenching on her elbows, raising an eyebrow at Pierce.
"It's fine, I'll just take it and go." She muttered. Smart choice, I considered.
"Uh, wouldn't it be more convenient if you just wore it now?" He spoke with confusion. He fastened his posture, his clothes really shown to me, compared to me, the school blazers in the school were really expensive so only a few of us bought it, Pierce bought it and he looked good on it along with the bowtie, as if he was a bridegroom.
"No, it's okay, Pierce." She snapped at him and grabbed the ring. She built up a lot of anger, let alone him leaving her in an unexpected position. He just let his arm out, empty.
"I-" He stuttered, must've been a great pickup if she went through the wrong path.
"Alright, I guess that concludes in today's lesson! Pick up your textbooks and homework results will be on the front counter." She finished and rubbed off the writings on the whiteboard.
"Close shot, huh." I looked at Felicity as she placed her books in her purse.
"Yeah, so embarrassing." She flashed her bright rosy cheeks.
"Are you sure all the books will fit in that?" I asked, she tried to hurry, but she could've at least know that the tiny purse can't hold all of the papers in her hand.
"Fair point, I guess I'll hold it." She coughed. I looked down at her, already packed up and nearly walking out of the door. I felt bad for her, carrying all of that, it nearly covered her eyes.
