More than strangers, less than lovers
More than friends yet less than sisters.
I was here and you were there yet we could not help but always be near
In my room just us two, I became obsessed with you,
They did not know for they did not see, they did not here of what was coming to be,
With your knee to mine sharing hands and eyes
You called me mine and I replied
With a kiss so sweet it was hardly brief
But we could not be as those around, did not agree
We were young so we did not know
But when we did, we were far too gone and now we stand, hearts alined yet miles apart.
But those who assume always get the reflection of what they presumed.
