A/n: This is how I understood Stockholm syndrome the first, and second and third, up till five first times, I heard the song.

He walks through the halls of school, his class not starting for another half an hour.

In his mind is a shadow displaying, mocking him, and never quite turning around to show its face. He has had it stuck in his head for weeks, not being able to get rid of it, or understand who it is.

It's like he is trapped in his mind, he's having problems concentrating, already having his grades lowered and teachers bringing him in to talk about his behaviour.

They ask if he needs to talk someone, he shakes his head, not meeting their eyes, his own glued to the floor.

His stuck in a pattern, with nothing to do about it. The worst, and weirdest, part of it is, that he likes it. He loves being distracted like this, but still knows he should try to get out of it.

He walks outside to the football field, where many students hang, since the sun is shining and the team is practicing.

He sits down on the lowest bench, looking out over the grass, then turning to look at those behind him. His breath hitch.

Among some other girls is she. Her eyes sparkle in the sunlight, her hands fiddling with her clothes as distraction.

Her friends are engaged in a passionate conversation, about a party coming up later that week, and she seems mildly interested, putting in a comment here and there to pretend to be active.

Suddenly she smiles, turning to his position, staring straight into his eyes, showing that she knows what she has done to him, messed up his mind.

"You're never gonna get away"
