The Past is Just The Past

"Mommy... where are we going?" the little girl with black long hair asked. Her mother looked at her with a genuine smile. "We're going to see someone," answered her mother. They're walked to a little island near the coast. That little island contains only a temple. Good to know they don't need to fight with the fierce waves because it's tide now. The water isn't near the coast.

The little girl holding her mother's hand tightly. "Mommy! Look it's white snake over there!" the little girl smiled. The girl waved at the male beside the snake. That's not an ordinary male because only she and her mother can see it. They climbing up the stairs and the little girl hummed. She doesn't know where is she going or what is she doing. Her mom said, they'll play outside. She always like to play outside but her mom always worried about her. Not because of her safety but about other people do.

The little girl saw the temple and play around. Her mother calls her and they stand in front of the biggest tree. "Moonshine, this is your new friend," Her mom said. There's a strong wind play with her hair. The little girl was surprised to see a big lion right under the tree. She clingy into her mother's dress. Scared. "You scared to see me but not the other spirit?". "The others look nice and always play with me..." the little girl mumbled. "It's okay, Moonshine. He's not gonna hurt you. He's even doing the opposites. He will protect you," her mom smiled.

"But, mommy, you said, you will protect me with daddy," the girl said. Her mom crouches and touches her daughter's hair. "Mommy and daddy can't always protect you, sweetie. One day, you need to go far away from mommy daddy because for your own good. At that time, he will replace us," her mom explained. The little girl is scared to hear that and starts to clingy more to her mother. "I don't want to leave mommy and daddy! I want to stay with you!" the little girl sobbed. "I'm so sorry, Barong... she's kinda clingy with us," Her mom talk to the lion.

The lion shakes his head and understands is hard for the little girl. The lion makes a little dancer figure of fire near the crying girl. She noticed and saw for a moment. The figure slowly walks near to the lion. The girl chases it and realizes when she's close to the lion. She was silent and hold her fear. "What is your name, kid?". "...Ariana Purnama..." the girl whispered. "The sacred child who descends on the full moon".

The little girl tilted her head. She doesn't understand what he said. "I'm Brahma. The child protector. From now, I'll protect and teach you what I know".

I fluttered my eyes slowly. Try to adjust with the light. I look around and see all white. I tilted my head and saw the same female in my dream. "M...mom..." I called softly. Mom throws a glance at me and starts to run to me. She hug me and I hugged back. "W-where's the old man?" I asked. "He's here. He talked to someone outside. Are you okay, sweetie?" asked her. I nodded and she give me a cup of water. "How long have I been unconscious?".

"Three days. Arisa called us at night and we manage to go here as fast as we can," her mother replied. I'm just nodded and drink the water. I'm not surprised to be unconscious for 3 days. Their power is too much for my weakly body. The person I asked finally entered the room. "So who's win?!" he joked. I rolled my eyes. He tries to do the 'son fight at school' jokes. "It's overused, old man," I said. "Aren't you worried about our daughter?" my mom asked. "I know you're okay, kid".

"Jiiiii---" me and my mom stare at the old man. "Hey, At least I'm trying. Can you appreciate my attempt? Huh... I believe you're okay because you're my daughter," he sighed. I rolled my eyes and accept what he said. "Who are you talking to outside?" I wondered. "It's me," someone replied. I saw a detective with his brown overcoat. "My name is Tsukauchi. I'm the detective from Police Force," he introduced. "It's my pleasure to meet you, sir. May I ask? Why are you here? I mean, I know I just got kidnapped by the villains but isn't it from Bakugo's integration enough?" I wondered. "You're fast to make conclusions. Well... I'll ask you the same questions as Bakugo Katsuki but since you just got woke up. Maybe next time I can ask you".
