Chapter 5: A heart to heart talk with the Hokage 

It was currently 1 in the morning as Naruto and Mirajane sat in front of the aged Hokage who had his pipe out taking a few moments to relax his nerves as after the incident he had decided that if he want to salvage what little relation he had with his pseudo grandson he need to be brutally honest with him and give him what he wanted from the beginning but it wasn't going to be easy but he was ready for the outcome hence why he was smoking which helped numb the tiredness in his eyes and prepare him mentally for the talk that undoubtedly might go south.

"I assume you have questions to ask Naruto-kun?" said Hiruzen as he took out the pipe from his mouth as he looked at the boy blue eyes. 

"Yes, I do have questions and I expect you to answer them truthfully that means no fake excuses like you have taken to doing for the past years of my life" Said Naruto calmly but his body language expressed anger due to the constant clenching of his fist.

Hiruzen winced at the jab made at him at being a liar and lowered his head in shame, "What I want to know is why I was never told that I was part of a clan and not just some random clan but a founding clan." Said Naruto this time he glared at the man but his tone remained calm it was time like this that Naruto was grateful for all emotion control he learned over the years or he would have snapped and attacked Hiruzen then and there and it would have put him in an unfavorable situation he want the old man to see him as a grown up not some child who is throwing a tantrum.

"I want you to understand Naruto-kun that it was never my intention to lie to you, everyday whenever you asked about your parents it hurt my heart to have to lie to you for your own safety." Said Hiruzen showing somber tone but this time Naruto snapped. 

"You hurt? *Scoff* what about my own feelings old man? did you never think for a moment about how I felt when I watched you lie to my face, every time coming up with different excuses or when you couldn't answer you would just say 'Didn't I tell you before, knowing won't bring back the dead' and then leave me to an apartment expecting me to act like a grown adult and you tell me that I am not ready to know what was MY RIGHT." Yelled Naruto balling his fist as he glared at the old man. 

Hiruzen look down in shame as he realized how much he underestimated the situation he didn't know that Naruto who was always calm and collected hold such anger and hatred for him but he knew that it was justifiable and couldn't fault him for it. 

"Just get to the point already old man, going around in full circle will worsen the situation then it should be right now, you could explain your reasoning once you're done answering his question." Said Mirajane calmly but her body language showed her worry she doesn't want the situation to escalate then it should be. 

Hiruzen then sigh, "Fine, I suppose you're right well then the reason why you were never told about the Uzumaki clan was because your clan Naruto-kun was a very powerful one that many people had debated that the Uzumaki clan was a rival to both the Senju and the Uchiha clan but others had stated that the Uzumaki are stronger then both of the clans" Stated Hiruzen as he took the pipe to his mouth knowing that the story will take quite a long time.
