Chapter Three

"Hey this is Mia!"

"HEY ! MIA ! I miss you so mu-"

"Please leave a message!" *beep*

"Oh" i sighed in dejection, i hung up and threw my phone on my bed and sat on my bedroom's little window porch.
"Darling!" I hear my grandma knocking on my door "open up! You haven't ate anything since this morning sweetie pie"

"I'm not hungry granny" i walk over and lay on my bed

"But i made you cookies sweetie" she begs

I quickly jump out of bed and open the door a crack just to peek out
"Do they have chocolate chips?!"

"Well sure they do honey!" She hands me a plate full of chocolate chip cookies, i open the door just enough to grab the cookie plate and give granny a big warm smile
"Oh thats more like it lovely! And I expect to see you at dinner!" She gently squeezes my cheeks then turns around as i return back into my room and place the cookie plate on my white laptop desk; as i wasn't really craving cookies at all.

I heard my phone vibrate on the bed; meaning i received a new message

Need to talk xx

To: Harry boo

Whats there to talk about ass face ?

From: Harry boo

It will take a minute babe

To: Harry Boo

Come to my house and we can talk.. For a minute !

From: Harry Boo

I'm texting you from your front lawn, come down xx

I got up grudging to see his face but aspiring to find out what excuse he might make up now !
I unlocked the front door to find his tall figure facing back, he turned around when my eyes widened in shock of what i saw he held between his fingers.

"Cigarettes?" I asked confused and disgusted

"What" he smirked shrugging

"Since when do you smoke?"

"Not that long really" he pulls the cigarette from between his lips then throwing it on the floor and stepping on it

"What do u want" i shrug sighing

"For you to give me a chance to explain"

"Oh really? Oh i bet there is a perfect explanation to why you have been acting weird for almost 3 months and completely lost contact with me for the past week now, and i-"

"Gemma went missing violet" he interrupts

"What" i say with my jaw on the floor!

"Gemma, my sister, she went missing 3 months ago" he slowly repeats

"Wait what? How come i never knew? I'v spoken to your mum and she said nothing about it" i say confused

"I told her not to tell you nor anyone that may tell you" he explains

"And why did you do that?"

"I didn't want to get you worried, cause i knew you were busy and worried enough with college and you have been spending a lot of time caring for Scott and making sure he goes to his therapy sessions after you found out about his.. problems ,and i didn't wanna add any more stress on you "
He explains

"What the hell harry" i stood stiffly out of words "that must have been so much for you to take i'm so sorry i -i should have been there for you instead of being a pain in the ass" i try to apologize

"Its okay babe, i should have told you" he walks over to give me a tight hug

"But -but why have you been ignoring me though?" I step away after the hug and ask

"Oh you know how bad of a lier i am! I figured hanging with you will make me lie and you would obviously know i was lying, so i thought ignoring you would make me not have to lie" he murmurs quickly

"Aww babe" i giggle "but, may i ask?"

"Sure babe anything" he holds my hands in his

"What happened to Gemma?" I look him straight in his beautiful green eyes

After s short moment of silence, just staring into each other's eyes
"Come, walk with me"
he finally speaks as he softly tugs on my hand to follow him.
