I was waiting outside our room for her to tell her about my surprise. Glancing at my watch, I recognized it has been 10 minutes and she is still busy on a call.
I moved inside and my heart felt many things for her seeing her dazzling in a black swim suit paired with a cream shrug. I enfold my arms around her waist. My lips trace down her neck and I heard her fumbling on call.
She turned and glared at me. I poked her nose and smiled hugging her, controlling my ever rising desires. Shifting her hairs to one-side, I rested my chin on her shoulder.
"Ek kaam karte hai, surprise ko kal dekh lete abhi toh humme aap par bahot pyaar aa raha hai", I whispered in a husky tone and she had to hang up the call.
I smirked seeing her hide the red marks with the shrug. Sensing what I was smiling at, she lowered the arm of my T- shirt and pointed her index finger at her mark of love.
"Chale ab ya aapko humme aur chedna hai", she whined. I raised my hand towards the door and replied "after you maddam". She shook her head at my dramatic approach and moved, only to get disturbed by the call again. Squinting her eyes at me she made a puppy face and ran inside again, "bas 5 minute pakka" and blowed a kiss to me.
I had no option other than waiting for her. "Reception ke bahar intezar kar rahe hai", I shouted and moved their. My surprise for her is a scuba diving experience. We planned this in our honeymoon trip to Australia too. But our trip was called off in about half duration due to an emergency in IB.
Coincidentally or luckily, the scuba dive assistant here in resort is my acquaintance- Priya, we were childhood neighbors. She lived near my orphanage and I have faint memories of our friendship. I didn't even recognized her, she was the one to identify. It felt good meeting her all of a sudden. I was busy talking with her that I didn't knew when Haseena came and stood beside me. Priya raised her eyebrows and I looked back to her. She had put up a forcefull smile and I guess she was here from last 2- 3 minutes.
I introduced her to my wife Haseena and breaking the suspense, told her about the snorkeling and scuba diving trip I arranged. I was expecting an over excited reaction but she looked dull and not interested.
"Kya hua?"
"Nahi...Anu Matlab humme dar lagta hai...humme nahi jana"
This wasn't the real reason. She has herself written it in her bucketlist, which is way beyond hard to complete given our jobs. I excused us from Priya and took her aside.
"Ab bataiye kya hua?"
"Sach me anubhav hume dar lagta hai diving se"
"Acha? Jo insaan humme Australia me magarmach ke saamne le ja sakte hai vo dive nahi kar sakta", I reasoned, reminding her of her crazy bucket list wish. 'Cage Of Death'.👇
