I stared dead into his eyes and said "earning enough money to survive is stressful at my age." he looked at me in shock and responded with "how old are you? if your really that young you should not worry about money. Don't your parents take care of you?"
"my parents are dead sir, its just me, myself, and I." I state bitterly
"oh... I'm sorry to hear that." Eraserhead said solemnly
"I bet I can answer the question that is on your mind. let me guess its how did they die? " I laugh at the look on his face at me saying that.
he stared in utter disbelief as I said that. then overcame his shock and finally stated " yes I was wondering but I never planed on asking."
"It's okay you don't have to... do you want to know?" I asked
"if you don't mind I do want to know...." he responded hesitantly
" when I was young, I was separated from my mother. I spent years looking for her but my search ended when. when I found a report dictating* her demise." *(definition of Dictating:(words to be typed or written down)
" I should probably go as I need to avoid you." I stated. I get up to leave and as I do Eraser head ask why my response was "because if you knew who I was, and how old I truly was.... you would put me in the foster system." with that final remark I disappear into the darkness.
