HERMIONES POV.
"Hey-"
"We have to move." Fred takes my upper arm and moves us to the side of the dueling area. Ginny and Cho take their spots.
"Are you gonna go back to not speaking to me now?" I ask getting annoyed.
"I'm not ignoring you." Fred says not taking his eyes of the duel in front of us. Ginny was on the ground, she looked pissed.
"Oh, right you and I talk all the time. Best of friends." I roll my eyes at him. Ginny was up pushing Cho into the corner with spells.
"Don't roll your eyes at me." Fred spits back at me. I didn't even realize he was looking at me.
"Or what." I throw back at him.
"I swear to god. You are so stubborn."
"Me! Fred, take a look at yourself! You have been ignoring me for a month! For what?"
"Because Hermione-"
"Ginny wins!" Our fight is cut off by Harry announcing Ginny's win. Cho looks a mess on the floor catching her breath. I turn back to Fred, who's face is closer to mine than I noticed during the argument. I take a step away from the red head.
"Hermione and Fred come on up!" Harry grabs my hand and pulls me to the front of the crowd. Fred followed behind. "All good?" Harry whispers to me.
"Yep. Let's go." I say back trying to hide my anger. Harry looks like he knows I'm lying but chooses not to say anything.
"Fred and Hermione, remember you have three minutes. Last one standing wins." Fred and I both nod. Harry steps out on the area. "On the count of three. One, two, three!"
"Stupefy!" Fred shouts knocking me back onto the ground.
"Expelliarmus!" I shout before Fred can hit me with another. He dodges my spell but it gives me enough time to get on my feel.
"Tarantallegra" I aim my wand at his legs, Fred starts dancing uncontrollably. The army burst out laughing.
"Oh really Granger." Fred fake laughs, shooting a counter jinx at his feet.
"Last names, really who are you Draco?" I ask before I can stop myself. With the mention of Draco's name something in Fred's face changes. He looks mad but oddly amused.
"Rictusempra." Fred aims at me with a smile. It's too late for me to block it I get hit with the jinx, immediately I start laughing. Rictusempra is the tickling jinx. Before I can produce the counter jinx I'm hit again.
"Silencio." I can't speak. Fred laughs. "Look now I don't even have to try to ignore you." I'm pissed, I silently produce both counter spells. Fred is playing to the crowd now, they seem to be eating this up. There's only a minute left on the clock and I'm don't playing games. I was holding back but not anymore.
"Expelliarmus" He blocks but again I was ready. "Ascendio" Fred flying into the air. "Stupefy!" Fred freezes mid fall hitting the ground hard. "Expelliarmus." Fred's wand flys to my hand. The clock rings.
I've won.
