~Libby~
I looked down at the letter written in the most elegant handwriting. It was written by Elijah, no doubt.
My beloved Libby,
I would like to escort you to dinner tonight at 7 p.m. If you wish to attend, you will need to wear a dress. This letter should be attached to a rather large box. Enclosed is a dress I think would suit you perfectly. I will be waiting outside your door at 7 p.m. sharp.
Love,
Elijah MikaelsonI set the letter down, tracing the edge of the box. I carefully unwrapped the teal colored bow and lifted the top.
Inside was an elegant white dress. It had long sleeves and looked to flow down to my feet. The bottom half was puffed out while the top half was embroidered with jewels of blue. I immediately knew they were Lapis, my favorite stone. A blue sash was tied around the waist of the dress.
I picked up the dress and tried it on. It fit so well, I'm surprised. It looked great on me. I felt surprisingly beautiful in this dress.
I twirled in the dress until I heard Elena shout for me. I nearly stumbled down the steps in my rush.
"Whoa, look at you. You look amazing!" Elena smiled. I smiled back, blushing.
"Wow..." Stefan said. His green eyes followed my every move. I blushed under his gaze.
"Where is Jeremy?" I asked, breaking the tension with Stefan.
"Teaching Chase how to be a Hunter. Damon is helping. And Tyler and Caroline are helping Jesse with the sire. Oh, and Bonnie and Kayla are practicing magic!" Elena explained to me. I simply nodded, soaking up the information.
~Elijah~
Before I headed off on my date with the lovely Libby, I decided to check on Holly. She was sitting angrily in the cell.
"Let me out!" She hissed. I had never seen this beautiful creature so angry. Her anger turned her ugly.
"Do you need anything?" I asked. I didn't want to be completely awful and deny her certain rights.
Holly thought for a moment. Then, she nodded her head. "Come sit with me for just a moment, please?"
I sighed, caving in. I used my enhanced speed to open and close the door in time. I stayed by it, watching the blonde with careful eyes.
Holly grinned, shoving me against the wall. Her lips attached to mine and I found myself kissing her back.
~Stefan~
It was now turning close to 9 at night, with no sign of Elijah. Libby sat in her beautiful dress, trying not to look broken.
I got up from my perch by the door and sat down next to her. I wrapped my arm around her and drew her close to me. Her head of blue rested on my chest as I rubbed a hand up and down her back.
I felt the girl cry, her body shaking. My heart broke, seeing her like this. In all honesty, I had a bit of a crush on Libby, ever since Elena chose Damon.
"Sh, sh, it'll be alright." I soothed. I carefully placed a small kiss to the top of her head, squeezing my eyes shut. I could practically feel the pain radiating off of her.
"Stefan... Make me forget..." She mumbled.
I gulped, forming a lie. "I haven't fed enough lately to do that..."
She removed her head from my chest, drawing back her hair from her neck. My green eyes locked onto the pulsing veins on her skin. I could smell the sweet scent of her blood.
"Libby, I can't..." I said, looking away. My eyes turned red and veins popped beneath them, my fangs extending.
"Please..." She pleaded. My heart squeezed in pain as I gave in.
I pressed my lips to her neck. Carefully, I bit into her neck. I sucked up her blood, moaning in pleasure.
Soft moans left Libby's lips, too. Her fingers gripped the fabric of my shirt as she let me feed. My arms encircled her, keeping her to me.
I drew back, looking at her. I bit into my wrist, letting her drink from me. I pulled back, staring at the now healed wound on her neck.
That's when her lips attached to my bloody ones in a rough kiss.
