~Libby~
I dressed up as a Vampire, with a cape around my shoulders and fake fangs. Stefan, after Elena's betrayal going to Damon, offered to be my 'date' to the school's dance. Who was I to say no to such a handsome man?
I picked up the dress of my outfit as I stepped out of Stefan's car. Elena and Damon had ridden with us, and both were already inside the building by now.
Stefan made it to my side of the car, holding his hand out to me. I smiled, taking it, letting him pull me up out of the car.
"How are you holding up?" I asked softly. I felt his grip on my fingers tightened as we walked into the school.
"I'm pissed as hell." He sighed. I gave his fingers a squeeze to show my reassurance and sympathy.
"Stefan, Libby!" Caroline squealed as she and Tyler came up to us. She gave us both hugs, then stepped back. She looked behind her a ways, a smile clear on her red lips.
"Hey, Care," I smiled. "What's up?"
"There's someone you should see." Caroline smiled. She grabbed my arm and dragged me away, leading me off to the hallway. It was empty except for a few people standing there.
"Jesse, Chase, Kayla!" I grinned, running up to them. I hugged all of them individually, happy to see some of my old friends again. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We're here to see you, of course!" Kayla smiled. "Why else would we be here?"
I smiled, looking back at Caroline. Stefan, Tyler, Bonnie, and Matt had accumulated, smiling at my group of friends.
"You guys did this?" I asked, smiling.
"Well, who would we be if we didn't bring your friends to the party?" Matt smiled. I grinned, nearly crying. It was so good to have such amazing friends.

As the night progressed, I learned quite a few things I didn't know before I had left my old home of Michigan to come here to Mystic Falls. I had learned that Kayla was a witch and Jesse was a werewolf. Chase, as far as I knew, was a normal human, still.
As the night progressed, I felt myself get lightheaded. I excused myself from my dance with Stefan and went outside to get some air. Once there, I found Klaus.
"Klaus..." I muttered. "What are you doing here?"
"Well, love, I'm here for you." Niklaus smirked. His smirk had the intentions of evil filled within it. I gasped, taking a step back. I wanted nothing to do with Klaus, ever.
"L-Leave me alone...." I stuttered. I turned to run, but Klaus zoomed in front of me. He reached out to grab me, but suddenly shrieked in pain. He gripped his head, falling to his knees.
Standing behind him was Kayla, her hand held up, fingers outstretched. She had a fierce look on her face, indicating she was not to be messed with.
"Go." She hissed to me. I nodded, taking off back into the building to find Stefan. Instead of being met with a wall of bodies, I was met by two strong arms and dark brown eyes boring into mine.
"Don't scream. Stay still." The voice attached to the body of the arms whispered. I felt my mind ease up and I did as I was told. Damn me for not wearing vervain like I should have.
