Cami and I headed out shopping. We were shopping for baby things for Hayley and Klaus's soon to be born child. I didn't want a thing to do with her, even if Elijah really didn't kiss her.

I looked outside the window, seeing the New Orleans bakery. My stomach grumbled and my mouth watered.

"Cami, can I go across the street to buy some cookies or something?" I asked politely and quietly.

"Sure. But of you run off, I'll know." She warned. I simply smiled and headed off, going across the street.

I stepped inside, seeing Elijah. I tried ignoring him, but he spotted me, too.

"Libby, hello." He smiled politely. "How are you on this fine afternoon?"

"Hungry," I replied, looking at the array of sweets. Everything chocolate related drew my attention.

Elijah turned to the cashier. "Bag up two of each chocolate and mint item." He compelled.

"Elijah, no, I'm fine..." I tried to protest.

"Nonsense. It's my treat." He smiled. I sighed, giving up. After the cashier bagged up our treats, we took them to one if the tables outside to eat.

I sat at the compound, reading through different books. How could Davina have seen me kissing Hayley if it had never happened? Had she seen into the future and mistaken it for the present? I knew she wouldn't lie. She would never hurt Libby.

I got up, heading to St. Anne's church. I rushed up to the attic, seeing Davina.

"Davina!" I called. She jumped, startled by my presence.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, setting down a magical object and coming closer to me.

"You saw me kissing Hayley, but it never happened. I wouldn't do that. And had Hayley been the one to initiate a kiss, I would have said so. How could you have seen it?" I asked, speaking quickly.

"I-I don't know. You were outside the window with her, down below. I saw you." Davina defended herself. I had no doubt she saw something, but how?

I stepped up to her, placing my hands gently to the side of her head. I saw the memory of me kissing Hayley.

I stepped back with a gasp. It certainly looked like me, but it couldn't have been!

"Perform a locator spell. On me." I demanded.

"But you're here." Davina said. She was confused, and I knew why.

"Do it." I hissed. She sighed and turned to her desk, performing a locator spell.

I took Elijah back to my house after our little meal. I had told Cami and she allowed me to go. She knew I would be safe with Elijah.

"I'm still hungry." Elijah said. He stood somewhat behind me as I placed my leftovers on the counter and removed my jacket.

"Go feed." I said. It was unlike Elijah to say something out of the blue.

I felt his strong arms on my waist and his lips at my neck. I gasped as I felt his fangs enter my neck. I felt my blood leave my body.

After a moment, Elijah pulled back, licking his blood covered lips. Strangely, as I had with Stefan, I found the sight of my blood on his mouth desirable.

I leaned in, placing my lips to his. His grip around my waist tightened as he lifted me up and placed me on the table. I moaned as his tongue slipped into my mouth.

As Elijah and I hastily removed each other's clothes, I noticed that the key tattoo on his back was gone. I felt my heart freeze and my blood run cold.

"Who are you?" I choked, putting two and two together. This wasn't Elijah.

"I'm Daniel, love." The man said, smiling. "Elijah is my shadow self, my doppelganger. Now, were we doing something or must I compel you to have sex with me?"

Strangely enough, I felt attracted to Daniel. He was different from Elijah, but so much alike. Maybe the reason things didn't work out with Elijah and Stefan were because they were too careful with me. Maybe all I needed in my life to better me was some adventure. This moment with Daniel would certainly suffice.

I looked up at Elijah after performing the spell. I was completely confused. The blood formed in two different paths. One led here, where Elijah was. The other trail led to Cami and Libby's house.

Elijah looked at the map, then me. He growled and kicked a chair across the room. It shattered to tiny pieces when it hit the wall.

"Elijah, what's going on?" I asked, confused and scared.

"I have a doppelganger on the loose." He said, locking eyes with me.
