A kiss

It had been almost a month since Aubrey found out she was pregnant, her birthday was tomorrow, and that's when she planned on doing the gender reveal, she was beginning to show a little bump, but you'd have to really be looking to see. Aubrey sat on her bed, reading a book, it was propped up on her stomach as she read aloud

There was a knock on the door, and Mia came in,

"Hey there, Aubrey, and little one" she said smiling

"Hey Mia" Aubrey said setting down the book

"Just came to tell you our plans for tomorrow" Mia said sitting down on the bed with her

"Ooh, spill, what are we doing" Aubrey said excitedly

"So in the morning, we're going to make a big breakfast for you, since you got to feed that little baby in you, then we'll invite everybody over for your little party and gender reveal, and then when everyone leaves, we'll open your presents and eat cake" Mia said happily

Aubrey smiled and pushed her hair back

"I'm so excited to know the gender" Aubrey said

"Me too, I hope your having a boy" Mia said pressing her hand against Aubreys bare stomach, Aubrey had gotten used to her roommates touching her stomach

"I want a boy too" Aubrey said smiling as she pressed her hand against her stomach and smiled

Aubrey heard the door creak open, and looked over to see Bryce and Tana

"Hey it's uncle Bryce" Bryce said as he walked up to Aubrey

"And bad bitch Tana" Tana said as smoke blew out of her mouth

"Hey guys, thanks for coming and helping me move" Aubrey said standing up, her room was almost empty, all she had to move was her bed and take a few more boxes to her new apartment

"Of course" Tana said sticking her vape in her pocket and smiling

"Okay me, Alex and Thomas, will put everything in the van, and y'all can just relax" Bryce said smiling

"Don't have to tell us twice" Tana said grabbing both Mia and Aubrey by there hair and leading them downstairs to the living room, where everyone else was

"So this is your last day here huh" Calvin said

"Ya" Aubrey said sadly

"I'm going to miss you laughing in the middle of the night because a TikTok I sent you" Calvin said wrapping his arms around her,

"I'm going to miss that too" Aubrey said

"Can't believe your actually leaving" Jett said sitting down on the arm of the couch

"Me either, but I'll come visit as often as I can, and when my baby is born, we'll all hang out together" Aubrey said smiling at the thought of her kid sitting in her friends arms

"I can't wait to meet the little baby" Jett said smiling at her stomach

"Me too" Aubrey said

Vinnie walked down the stairs, his footsteps where faint and he looked like he was sick,

"Morning" he mumbled walking into the living room taking a seat on the couch farthest away from everyone

They still refused to talk to him, and he accepted that and went on with his day,

"You got to promise to give us a house tour when it's done" Micheal said

"I promise" Aubrey said sticking out her pinky, Micheal interlocked them and let go

"What do you mean house tour?" Vinnie said, sitting up

"She's moving" Jett said

"That's today? Shit I forgot" Vinnie said standing up

"Of course you did" Jett said rolling his eyes

"Oh I almost forgot" Aubrey said running upstairs, she grabbed a brown box filled with all the sweaters, clothes, jewelry, pictures, and gifts Vinnie had given her and carried it downstairs

"Here's your stuff" Aubrey said handing the box to him

"What's this" Vinnie said opening the top to look inside, he saw the little heart gum wrappers he made her, and the notes he wrote her sitting on top of the clothes and gifts, his heart broke

"It's your stuff, I'm giving it back to you" Aubrey said cocking her head

"I- thanks I guess" Vinnie said dropping the box on the couch and sitting back down"

"So your going through with this" he said looking up at her

"With what?" She asked confused

"This?" He said pointing to her stomach

"It's a human being, please don't call our child a "this" or an "it" Aubrey said in a serious tone

"Sorry, your going to keep the baby?"

"Obviously"

"Oh"

It was quiet, Aubrey looked down at Vinnie, who was picking at the skin around his nails

"I want you to be there tomorrow" she said, it was something she had been thinking a lot about recently, she wanted Vinnie to be there when they announced the baby's gender, after all he is the dad

Vinnie looked up at her, like she was stupid

"No I told you I didn't want everyone knowing it's mine" Vinnie said

"No?, Vinnie this is your child too, and everyone that's coming already knows your the dad" Aubrey argued

"So? I told you I don't want anything to do with the baby, so as of right now, it's not mine, and knowing you it probably won't know who's it's dad since you want to bring different boys around" Vinnie said standing up

"When have I ever brought a boy around, I haven't dated anyone since we broke up" Aubrey said

"Oh yeah, that's hard to believe, what about Tyler, Marco, Jake, and all the other dudes you flirt with" Vinnie yelled

"Those are all my friends, I'm not flirting with them, there all helping me Vinnie" Aubrey yelled back

Everyone had left letting them argue it out

"Helping you do what? Get off" Vinnie yelled

"No, Jesus your so fucking sick, and why do you care, your dating Abby" Aubrey said crossing her arms

He didn't know what came over him but, something irked him to do this, he leaned forwards grabbing Aubrey by her dance and kissing her, his body felt hot, and he felt at peace, the taste of her lips was intoxicating, the smell of her perfume, hypnotizing him, he pulled her body close to him, he felt her baby bump press against him, he pulled back his hazel eyes looking for a reaction, she had kissed back, so maybe she liked it

Aubrey opened her eyes, staring into Vinnie's, hers where wide, and she stepped back

"I have to go" she said walking backwards towards the front door,

"Wait" Vinnie yelled, but he was to late, Aubrey was already running to her car, but Vinnie followed her
