04 || Afterschool

A/N: AYYY guys good morning! It's so cold today....so I'll just write this on my bed. Ok so next is random Author-chan info so if you wanna head right to the story, go ahead!! 

So I'm into hoodies these days and I'm thinking of buying a Valhalla uniform hoodie thingie. I don't think my parents will approve or anything but yeah. I also don't have club activities today so I'm thinking of buying dorayaki from the convenience store after school so yea now on to the story.

Chifuyu's POV

After school, I decided to check on this Baji dude once again. I walked toward class 3 and I heard voices. I didn't give a damn about it. The classroom door was open and I just went right in. There were only two people in the class, Baji and some other girl sitting near him. Baji was studying again while the girl was turned around, facing the window.  Her back was turned around and she looked familiar but I just shrugged it off.

I grabbed a chair and sat down in front of him. I leaned on the chair that made a creaking sound.

Baji looked up from his work and the girl turned around. 

WHAT, it's that girl from lunch!! My heart beated faster than before but I kept my face calm and tried not to put any emotion. 

"And you are...?" Baji broke the silence.

"Matsuno Chifuyu from class 1"

The girl cleared her throat. "Sooooo you're the one that has rumors about the best delinquent?"

I looked at her. Geez, Chifuyu, talk like normal already. "Yeah, I guess," I said.

The girl hummed in response. 

I looked down on what Baji was working on. What is he writing so seriously? As I looked, I noticed that his handwriting was sloppy and I could barely make out the words. I mean, I can make out the words, it's just, it's not the handwriting of a middle schooler, almost like a kindergartener.

"Hey, Pointdexter, what's this supposed to be?" I asked as I pointed to a word that looked incorrect. 

"虎(Tora)...." Baji mumbled.

I mentally facepalmed. "You wrote it wrong." Smh, this guy........

"Huh?!??!? I did???" Baji panicked as he double, triple, quadruple, checked the word.

I sighed. "You're no Pointdexter, so why are you dressed like that?"

I heard the girl giggle from where she was sitting. Cute...Ugh, why am I thinking like this...

Baji fell silent for a moment. Then he replied, "So I won't get held back again...I don't want to make my mom cry."

The same girl laughed out loud "Kei, you're answering the same questions I asked you with the same response LOL" 

"I don't care and shut up," Baji said, pissed off. "It's the truth I'm talking here, what's so wrong about speaking the truth."

The girl stopped laughing "Anyways, I'm sorry for disturbing. Oh yeah, and my name's (L/n) (Y/n), call me (Y/n)." She said, rather shyly.

"Yeah nice to meet you," I replied. I have never been so polite to anyone these days and it felt awkward.

 I turned back to Baji, who was struggling on remembering how to write the kanji, tora. 

I took his pencil and wrote the word, tora on his paper. "This is how you write tora." 

"OOOHHHhhhhhh," Baji looked closer at the word I wrote. "You're....a good dude!" He grinned. 

I sweatdropped and chuckled a bit. "Soo....I was wondering....what have you been writing?"

Baji fell silent the second time and he mutter, "A letter...." 

"Huh? You're writing a letter to someone? You're a weirdo...."

(Y/n) smiled. It's nice of Baji to write a letter to his friend he cared about.

Baji shouted, being embarrassed, "SHUT YOUR FACE!! IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!! YOU WANNA DIE???!?"

I laughed, "How rude"

"SHUT UP DUMBASS," Baji continued shouting.

(Y/n) was laughing as well. "Chill, Baji"

Now, I was curious about what he was writing more than before. I looked at the paper and saw one misspelled. "You misspelled that too," I pointed out. 

"Huh, really???" Baji might be stupid but he was a funny guy. No wonder he got held back. But he's just bad at writing. Isn't he a delinquent??

(Y/n) POV

I watched Chifuyu and Baji work together. They get along pretty well. I smiled to myself. 

Suddenly, I remembered what my friend, Mai said.  "But girl, he's dangerous. His name is Matsuno Chifuyu and he's a pretty famous punk around here. I know your good at fights but I don't know about him. He beat up a lot of people. Even though he looks cool, doesn't mean he's cool on the inside."

Is it true? That he's dangerous? He doesn't look dangerous to me... He just looks like a delinquent who's nice and cool. 

Not gonna lie, he's just perfect. I kinda get butterflies just looking at him teach Baji basic stuff.

He's a good guy, I thought as I kept on smiling at them, especially Chifuyu.
