Eight hours here and I'm not allowed to leave my room. They brought me my things around an hour ago. Every time I try to leave, they just push me back in my room saying I'm not allowed to leave yet.

I got up for another attempt to leave the room. But right as I reached for the door it flew open. I stepped back and watched as they pushed someone into my room.

"You two will be sharing this room!" A man's voice said before the door slammed close. I looked at the person they locked me in here with.

The first thing I noticed was the blonde hair. Then the blue eyes. And finally the smirk on his face. Chris. You've got to be kidding me.

"Amara, how are you?" He asked with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone. "Or just ignore me." I walked over to the door.  I knocked on it a few times.

"I want to speak with the headmaster," I said throught the door. The door opened and they let me out. I walked all they way to the headmaster office. I knocked on the door before walking in.

"Amara, what are you here for?" She asked.

"Why is HE in my room?! Him of all people! Why him?" I asked.

She sighed. "You didn't feel it did you. Well, he knew that you two were ment to be. But why your not feeling the connection is beyond me." She looked up at the ceiling, thinking about what to say.

"What do you mean, ment to be?" I asked.

"Well, everyone has their perfect match. Mates, or beloved. Werewolf and Vampire terms," she paused. Her face looked as thought she was trying to explain things to where even a 4 year old would know what she's talking about. "For vampires, they usually find their beloved around the age of 16. Elves, well, they've been known to stop aging at 16-17. The same age vampires stop aging. But it's rare for a elf to have a perfect match, mainly because the only other immortals are vampires."

"So there is a possible chance I won't have a perfect match?" I asked.

"Technology yes. But Chris claimed that your hus beloved," she paused. "There is a chance that you're not his beloved. Or that his beloved is close by, or you've been in close contact."

I spent another hour with her, learning and trying to understand why I can't feel a connection with Chris.

I left her office and walked back up to my room. I passed a few in the halls. They just looked at me like I wasn't supposed to be there.

"I heard that Chris is just lying. The elven princess isn't his beloved, nor is he the vampire prince." A girl said as I walked past her. She gave me a sad smile before going back to talking to her friends.

I made it back to my room and noticed that Chris wasn't there. A note was on my bed. I picked it up and looked at what the thing said.

Dear Amara,
I'm sorry for lying to you. I went to go talk to the headmaster. I know what I did was wrong. I hope you find your perfect match.
- Chris

I crumbled up the price of paper and dropped it on the floor. I walked over to my bathroom and changed into a pair of black leggings, a white oversized t-shirt, and white vans. I quickly finished lacing up my shoes before running outside to see the garden.

I noticed a few people watching me. But why are they watching? What have I ever done to be watched? I just got here.

I walked over to a rose bush and watched a rose bloom. Which was surprisingly fast. I wasn't expecting a rose to come out that fast.

I looked away from the rose and walked back inside. I noticed a few signs.

Library
Gym
Labs
Study hall
Meal hall

I followed the signs to the library. Which just so happen to be empty. Lucky me.

I walked into the back of the library and pulled out my phone. I took a seat at a table that almost looked like it was covered in dust. Guess what. It is. Like wow, does no one here go to the library?

I sat down and looked down at my phone. Hoping for something interesting to happen. But nope. The world hates me. It forgets about me. It favors the other because they are more worthy of its praise. Then there's me. Lied too. Cheated. And used. I hate it so much. But hey, there's nothing I can do about it other than hide the true me. No one will want to ever see that side of me.

Someone talked me on the shoulder. I looked up at the blonde. Attractive that's for sure. Greyish-blue eyes. Around 6ft. Well dressed. Probably one of your classic player type boys.

"You mush be Amara Junoper. I'm Zac Maverick," he said, introducing himself. I gave him a small smile. "I'm sorry about  his. He can be an asshole. He isn't really a vampire. He's just a lying little fairy. Annoying thing really. I'm the true vampire prince." He gave me a bow.

"Nice to meet you?" I said, questioning why these people are always coming up to me like they know me.

"I know, I know. I'm overstepping a bit. But I would like to get to know you, if you want." He offered. I smiled a bit more at him. "Is that a yes?"

"No," I said crushing whatever hope he had. "I don't plan on being here for long. I don't care for people talking to me. Especially when their people that remind me of a player." I turned my phone off and started to walk away.

I got a good 5 ft before he pulled me back to him. "How can you push someone away like that? Door not feel anything?" He asked. I just started up at him.

"I feel nothing when it comes to guys," I paused as I tried to get him to release my arm. "I've been played with far too many tim-" something loud cut me off.

"All students must evacuat the building!" Someone yelled. I started to run away from Zac. I didn't want to be around him. He may have been hot, but I'm not to sure about him yet. There's something I just can't place yet.

I ran up to my room and grabbed anything important. I ran outside after gathering the things important to me. Once I was out side I started running to who knows where.

My mind started to wander as I ran. But why would a guy as pretty as Zac come up to me? Of all people. I know that my 'title' is up there, but still. Why me? And why the hell to I feel drawn to him?

I ran up to a bus stop and boarded the bus that was there. It started driving as soon as I got on. I noticed a few huge wolves behind me. One looked like it had a person on its back.

Three hours on the bus. No major cities yet. No airports. Nothing but trees. Like where the he'll am I? Where is this bus going? I don't enderstand why all of this is happening to me.

After another three hours we entered a city and stopped at the airport. I got out and bought a ticket to the next plane to New York.

I just hope that I don't run into anyone I don't wish to see again...
