"[Name] it's about time you actually help me make something, I have a potion that I've been wanting to make for quite some time now and I finally have the time to do it!" Cedric called out to you as you stared up at the ceiling from your little bed space. You didn't really feel like working, but it was technically what you were supposed to be doing.

Next thing you know you were being dragged out of bed by the sorcerer you were supposed to be learning from.

"I don't have time for your petty tiredness, come on now we're going to be making an invisibility spell. There's so much I can do with this once I figure it out!" He giggled, walking back over to his little work station as you trudged next to him.

The book was flipped to a page with pretty clear instructions on it, except there was a part of it noticeably covered in dust. Cedric didn't seem to notice it, you wondered if all of his books were this dusty. The man didn't seem to know how to properly clean, if he had a beard it would probably be hard as a rock.

"Now get me-" he began listing off certain ingredients and you scoured the map and the room for them, using your wand for the higher up ones. (I feel bad for any of you short people out there, you just have to use magic for everything.)

You both tried the spell multiple times, each one resulting in an explosion. On the last try, a tiny knock came from the door.

Cedric, clearly irritated from his failures, opened the door and shouted out, "who is it?!"

It was the princess, her concerning amount of blush and all. Her face a constant unwavering smile, she gave you a small wave as she noticed you standing farther back in the room.

"Hi mr. Cedric!" She chirped in the shrilly voice of hers, still managing to pronounce the old guys name wrong.

"It's Said-ric. As in Cedric," he stared directly at the kids neck for a second before saying in a joyful tone, "how nice it is to see your amule- Djjdjdjcj I mean you. Do come in."

He moved out of the way of the door and Sofia immediately walked on in, looking up and down at the walls full of different things. Cedric shut the door after her as he walked in as well.

The kid waved to wormwood, who gave her an oddly judgmental glare for a bird. He looked as if he were walking shit about the kid. Probably was.

"Soo- I have this sorcery class at school and I was hoping since your such a great sorcerer... you could help me learn a few spells?" She pulled a book out of god knows where and held it up to him.

"Wait you guys actually have magic classes and stuf at your school? I thought you could only learn that sort of thing at one of those fancy wizard schools," you mumbled to the kid. The school you went to back home never even taught the history of magic, you just sort of had to learn most of it at camp and from the people you met with experience.

"Yeah! I just wish I were good at it like the other kids in my class..." Sofia replied sheepishly.

"I am a," he cleared his throat, "royal sorcerer. Not, a school teacher."

"Man no need to be rude. Kid is just asking you for a bit of help," Cedric glared at you, which made you want to crack a joke, but the kid said something before you had the chance.

"I know... but I have a test coming up and I'd be so grateful"

She stared at him with puppy eyes.

"Can't you see I have more important things to do," he said gesturing towards both his work table and where you were standing.

"Wow, am I really important to you," you said mockingly, putting your hand on your chest.
