Make, and keep, rules.
Even the most epic fantasy has to be grounded in its own reality so that it feels believable. If this is your first book set in a fictional world, consider researching some societal basics like politics or economics. Ask obvious questions like, “Where do rivers come from?” Even magic systems can, and should, have their own plausible rationale.
In writing fantasy novels, we must also make a rules and regulation inside the story. Just like in reality. May mga batas tayong sinusunod inside and outside the country. Kahit sa loob ng bahay ay may mga batas ding sinusunod.
It's just depends on how you want to deliver it o kung anong batas ang gusto mong ipatupad sa loob ng istorya. Pwede mo rin namang gamitin sa story ang mga batas natin. Kaya lang, dahil fantasy nga ito, karamihan sa mga author ay gumagawa talaga ng mga bagong rules in which nagpapaganda lalo sa takbo ng istorya.
Ang paggawa ng rules and regulation ay isa sa mga nagpapa-hook lalo ng mga readers kasi ngayon lang sila nakabasa ng mga rules na ginawa mo. Just always make it believable and relatable.
